Grommets are a definate yes! Why I listen to some of you is beyond me 🙄
I love curtains with grommets
I couldn’t agree more about the grommeted curtains! I clapped when you said it as the look drives me crazy. (plus I think they are too modern from my traditional home). Unfortunately that is predominantly what is being sold these days, so I have to look extra hard to find the look I want (but ready made as I can’t afford custom).

I agree with your idea about grommets. I have drapes that have them and I turn them so the grommets are in the hem area and use the hemmed end on the top.

I dont get it with the curtains
Regarding having too much on display, I’ve solved that issue by having an Ikea Kallax shelving unit in my basement that I use for storing decorative items, throw pillows, etc. that I’m not currently displaying. I tend to change things out when the seasons change, and the shelving unit brightens up the basement.
You should show where you put your triff items in your home.
Did you say “mix matched”? It’s mismatched. Also, consider adding some color inside your cabinets because the all-white you’re rocking looks builder basic.

My home is clean and everything usually has its place. Its practical and affordable. My home is not a museum nor is it for display of OCD which i dont have an issue with.

I will be figuring out new placement for my tv as well as new curtains, I knew I needed new curtains and I really need to wall mount my tv because it’s in a corner but I have a smaller living room with a big tv stand.

I feel everybody had their unique style and should decorate how they want but she has some really good tips I agree with the multi colors

I totally disagree my mom did custom decorating so I had custom drapes and honeycomb blinds for years. I just switched to modern contemporary and grommet drapes work great. A pinched pleat does not look modern it looks dated with modern decor in my space

I think you need to stretch your color repertoire. White and tan are the only colors you use for your furniture. Very tired of your decorating in boring, safe colors.

Tea cups are more beautifull if they are special! I think , glas cups are practical, but to make them beautifull we can select something delicate, in white, with an exclusive, design! There are so many options! Still neutral, yet more classy
I am ALL about my grommet curtains!
I hung curtains with grommets in 2014, and they looked nice for that point in time. Now I have no curtains/drapes in any of my windows. My bedrooms and bathrooms have Hunter Douglas pleated shades. My windows are trimmed in very nice millwork framing, so it looks complete.
