A very cozy house indeed. Two thumbs up for that interior designer in transforming a normal HDB flat to a staycation condo model.
To me the scottish terrier stand out more in yr i.d outcome.

Thanks for Yr sharing, very nicely renovated hse, a small feedback for you, please cut down all your ‘ So’. Almost every sentence u start with ‘So’, sound very irritating… Countless ‘so’ my god to the extent I tried to look for mute button but too bad there isn’t any. I got to stop watching after 5mins…So sorry!
I have been buying lots of used small items from carousell lately and must have visited at least 10 condos. These units are of mid range to some quite exclusive condo projects. I have yet to come across one that I can say looked “atas”.
To my untrained in design eyes…I think the main problem is …
1) too much clutter
2) cheap looking furniture … Eg from ikea and similar stores. Nothing against ikea but they are built to a price point. Some of their stuff like organisers, gadgetry, kitchen and bedroom furnishings are brilliant. Living room stuff … not so. Plus everyone would have seen and know how much you paid for it. No privacy at all.
3)bad styling. Eg…getting scale wrong. Just because it’s a small space … they accessorise with small stuff like small potted plants, home decor etc etc. end up looking like a flea market.
4) decorate with cutesy cutesy stuff like plushies and toys (bearbrick For example) It looks too juvenile and cheapens the look.
I’m not trying to nit pick…but after the reno is done …. Styling accounts for 50 percent of the final presentation. Locals tend to put too much of their budget into the structure and invest too little into styling.
Just my 2 cents.

Fluted panel is now a common sight everywhere.
Irregular fluted panel is the cream of the crop.
No matter where we live,whether in HDB or condo or landed, Without knowing how to renovation, arrangements n cleaning their house, no matter how good the renovation is. In future the property will look like rubbish.without facilities, HDB can never become condo.
Definitely she is not the owner. Advertising… house renovation is costly. Most important is maintenance. Week in n out… who do the clean up 🤣🤣🤣

As usual, every renovation video sure got idiotic sour grape comments. I quite like this design, it really does look luxurious. Definitely on the pricey side but if they owners are happy with it I see nothing wrong. Living in a space that gives you joy is priceless.

Nice flat. Condo is a wrong word to use. Not all condo are well.designed.
it will be 100% perfect if the basin is inside the master bathroom. imagine if the water spill on the floor of bedroom 😂

Nice house but I don’t feel comfortable when this lady looked down on taobao lights. She can splurge tons of money on a western branded lights, but it is distasteful to assume taobao lights will definitely broke down in 2-3 years.
HDB Flat is HDB Flat ! Public Housing ! Don’t be stupid to waste the money . Basic renovation can do ! HDB Flat is not PROPERTY ! Wake up 😄

it is MONEY… spend spend… basic is knock down all walls..new marble floor, whiote cleilings n grey painted walls, toilets new floor/wall tiles n new fittings n mirror cabinet.. kitchen low n high cupbords, new fittings … it is money…
it should have 11 tips. 1 tip u missing, MONEY. 🤣

No renovations will not make an apartment/flat a condominium, condos are about facilities, exclusivity, lobby floor, private lounge, hall, and etc

What is a condo look or HDB look? Why not say Good Class Bungalow look – mainly carpentry … duh… why kid yourselves. Whatever the look – it is paid for with money. So just say – no money look and got money look – haha.
problem with plaster boards and cornices and or any wall you. put up or tear down – after 5 years or so cracks will appear as the materials contract or expand differently. then comes the peeling etc and the nice wooden panels will just expand / shrink / crack especially when uour unit is sun facing and you used the aircon to cool the rooms on and off.

can i know how much is your damage?
My mum did the marble floor. It is a very high-maintenance kind of tile. If not taken care of, it ages faster than any other tiles.

Condo doesn’t mean nice. I’ve been to plenty of plain or ugly condo apartments. It all depends on the interior decoration or design.
