3 Interior Designers Transform The Same Home Office Space | Space Savers | Architectural Digest
We gave interior designers Lula Galeano, Laura Hodges, and Alvin Wayne a photo of the same home office space – then asked each of them to create a design for it in their particular style, however they pleased. Three artists, one canvas, each bringing something different to the space. See which designer comes closest to creating your ideal home office.

ABOUT ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST
The leading international design authority, Architectural Digest features articles and videos of the best in architecture, style, culture, travel, and shopping.
In my opinion, Laura made the most practical office design. I also find it inviting and well decorated.
My favourite part was when they ‘moved’ the window. If they moved the entrance to the room i would be ok, but ‘moving the window’ just shows you how unable they are
Only ONE designer understood the assignment.
Daybeds in the office eh? I must be in the wrong career field.
laura is the only one who understands what an office is
All very beautiful, but who lounges in an office? Other than our pets, of course.
The daybed one looked like a doctor’s office.
Oh no. Laura wins. Laura is practical and her designs are amazing!
9:54 love this piece!
Laura’s design was the most beautiful and practical if someone actually planned to use the room. Putting a fireplace in a room that size, I’m sorry but it’s pretty dumb and dangerous.
love all three of these. loved laura’s the most but all of them were gorgeous
Im not usually a fan of green but Laura’s design is beautiful. Bonus points for the plants too. Her design gives space for storage under the desk and a printer on the otherside of the bookshelves.
We need more straight men in interior design
I like Lula’s, but am I literally going to put my Laptop on my lap? I would prefer a table of somekind, maybe at the shorter area of the sofa. I like Laura’s room, but Alvin’s room is not my taste.
love how there’s not a clear winner but love the no tv one if we’re nitpicking
Lula’s is aesthetically pleasing but the choice not to have a desk for an office is just weird 😂
this time laura wins, i really love her style design soooooo much this time❤
Love Lulas space the others we giving me claustrophobia just purely cos of how the room is structured
It’s a brilliant idea to give an empty space and also let deferent designers fill the space ,without instructions or style to follow and how everyone of them gives a total different designs and point of view. I Love it
Yes Laura was the best then Lula then Alvin. What was he thinking. He was all the way wrong.
Laura well done, super efficient use of the space, and beautiful looking!
I hate Alvins’ wallpaper, the place looked small and dark. Ir is an elongated small space it cannot be so dark
In this case Lulu wins ..
For the first time, I actually like ALL the designs, excluding the zodiac signs…
none of these "offices" are functional – the ergonomics of a monitor way up on the wall; the utility of a daybed and tv in the office; the office where the desk is completely missing – "you can’t see it", maybe display the area of the room that serves the purpose – would you design a bedroom and skip the bed?… Did any of these people actually use an office ever in their life?
So only one room is actually a real useable office 😅
Irritating that they moved the window.
The girl in purple is so creative and talented but she really just didn’t understand the assignment. It’s supposed to be an office.
What software is used to render these rooms ?
The green room is my favorite!!! 🤩 Beautiful and practical working space!! Lula’s (?) was great before the fireplace, but you can replace it with a nice desk….and an office chair with lumbar support ☺ The other one was….an interesting guest room
The last wooden room has been photo shopped wider
Lula’s concept is very original and I like it, even if the final result dosen’t really looks like an office.
Laura’s is the least insane. The others are farking mental. Who’s going to move a window in a 6ft-wide boxroom? A fireplace? What?!
Green walls wins
Laura’s office makes sense. Alvin’s office is functional for the purpose of staging to inspire new prospective homeowners
Lula’s didn’t make any sense at all, however, it would have if the office space were larger, e.g., at the front entrance of the house with French doors or large door then the fireplace would be functional in the space.

The room without any desk… so ridiculous. That is why I will never ask any designer for help 🫣
alvins looks like a bathroom… lula i wish she gave us a desk but love this too. laura wins
Lula es más argentina que el asado no tengo pruebas pero tampoco dudas
Hurrah for Laura! 👏
I think Alvin’s pendant lamp will hit somebody’s head.
alvin’s office looks like a prison cell lamo
My first instinct is to put the desk in front of the window purely for the lighting for zoom calls. Back lit never works on video calls.
These people need to go to school
I liked the wrap around seating, but the fireplace area should have been for a desk, so you have the best of both worlds.
My favourite detail in the green room is that the desk is flush against the shelf so it’s more like an extention of the shelf rather than an isolated piece.
Lulu’s design is divine 😍
Cool and amazing
Thought the desk was going where the fireplace went.
This is my favorite episode for me. I like all 3 rooms . They have 3 different styles but look cozy beautiful. Love this show.
