$30 Charcuterie Board vs $130 Charcuterie Board | But Cheaper
$30 Charcuterie Board vs $130 Charcuterie Board | But Cheaper
Charcuterie boards have a tendency to be overly expensive. I’m talking about dropping between $100-$300 on a single board! And yeah, I understand the quality of food you’re buying is worth it… but we can definitely make some great choices for cheaper that ultimately taste and look the same.

I’m glad we feel the same way about blue cheese
I found my tribe!!! I HATE BLUE CHEESE…it tastes like acetone to me
So … It’s only 30 worth of materials, not 30 in total. That’s deceiving. Pp will think you can buy a nice one for 30 or even 130. Not if you want it to last more than 1 year max. Oh … you mean the food…lol.
That syrup pull was nasty 😏
From a dutchie: that "gouda" was just perfect
I love this video so much. Thank you for this 💕
The blue cheese slander 🤣🤣🤣
Love your video! This is awesome 😁 👍 Hey! I am a blue cheese lover. 😍
this is the best video thank you 😛
I love blue cheese. It’s ok that you don’t. It’s ok🙄🙄🙄🙄😉😊
You are such a nerd and I’m all over it!! Love it!! I would never go the cheap way! You got me!! I thought you were gonna talk about the different places and places where you could purchase the meat and cheese! This was an amazing video either way!
5:31 😏👌🏼
My personal trick for charcuterie is ALDI 🥰💞
That honeycomb looks unbelievably delicious
Pack of store brand bologna: $2, Pack of store brand sliced American cheese: $2, Sleeve of store brand saltine crackers: $0.75, Pack of store brand vanilla wafers: $2, Kool aid with booze in it (in a champagne glass): $0.75 per glass
Laying under the stars in the bed of your pick up truck eating cooter boards with your hottest cousin – Priceless.
I am convinced that charcuterie boards are just adult lunchabuls… don’t @ me
Josh !! If you don’t like blue cheese I highly recommend shropshire it’s salty amd buttery and a little sharp. Really good
Ok but why you beat the Bleu cheeses ass like that 😂😂😂😂
It might be blasphemous to some, but you could turn the cream cheese into an avocado dip or French onion dip. On our boards we usually mix it up with expensive and cheaper cheeses, quince paste, dried apricots and some dips with crackers that suit (hummus usually features on it). We also throw antipasto veges (eggplants, sun dried tomatoes, marinated artichokes and peppers) on there.
When the whole squad shows up to the Gout ward
no one:
chefs:
hey guys today I will show you how to make a grape, don’t buy the ones from the farm, they put cocane in it
this guy really cringe
too much cheddar on the cheaper board, that just jump in your eyes when there’s too much of it
Omg when you started describing the Blue Cheese 🧀 I couldn’t stop laughing because I feel the same way 🤣😂
I feel so SEEN about the blue cheese lmao
Josh, where can I find your video on marinated olives? I saw the clip in the charcuterie video but I NEED the olives video, too!
5:31 okay uhhh wot
For the cream cheese, do smoked cream cheese with a little jalapeño 😩😩😩
Your trippin bro blue cheese is the best
Hey guys, VO mistake on the gastrique. We edited in me saying water when it should have been VINEGAR!!! Idk how that happened but it’s 1 cup vinegar and 1 cup water! Papa love u very sorry I’m only human please forgive me. : _ )
"Mom can we buy charcuterie?" Mom : "No, we already have charcuterie at home" (proceed to serve boiled onions and baloney.)
Import cheese in Canada has the highest tariffs a nice triple cream Brie from France about 300 grams will set you back $17. Let’s not talk about the other ones. A good charcuterie heavy on cheese will set you back about $200.
I wouldn’t really call this a charcuterie since that normally only consists of meats (although the term is used rather loosely lately) i’d prefer the italian word antipasto to describe these platters.
The most important part of an antipasto is to adjust it to your guests. In my personal experience meats and cheeses should be sparingly used. Luxury fruits (Dried and fresh), veggies, olives, Nuts, bread and toast should be the vast majority of an antipasto.
Aim for artisanal/higher quality meat and cheeses that have a distinctive taste, but still appeal to the vast majority of your guests. You don’t want your guests to cram themselves with fatty meats and cheese, you want a light balanced meal (especially when it’s before or after dinner)
I literally watched this just now while high and got so turned on by watching this 😂😂😂 Omg I feel shameful with how much the cream cheese drizzle did for me 🫠🫠🫠🫠
Loving the beat at the end, I was going to start freestyling
I’m as a European amazed how expensive fruits, cheese and aged meats are in the US!
Cream cheese ideas:
Roll up assorted combinations separately with choice of herbs, spices, etc to increase flavour variety at minimum extra cost.
Buy gourmet sausages (one of each) from a decent butcher, cook, cool, thin slice.
Add wild foraged berries, greens, edible flowers etc
Make your own watercrackers.
Use fancy stale clearance breads to make tiny toasties.
I hate blue cheese too, it’s so gross 🤢
I could never eat from a charcuterie board with friends or guests, I’d need the whole board to be satisfied. And I don’t think it’s good etiquette to munch away while hoarding a board to yourself while your guests are hungry.
I love Blue Cheese dressing.
your energy is OUTRAGEOUS. Keep do.
Gives me some ideas for where to go cheap and where to kick it up a notch! Take it easy on the cheeses, try for a nicer apple (Granny Smith? please — try Pink Lady, Rockit, Honeycrisp, or my current favorite, Cosmic Crisp), go good with the nuts (pistachios and cashews for me), and try something cheap but fancy with the cream cheese. I’d try stirring cream cheese into salsa, and I do like your idea about the baguette bites ^_^ I could see adding them alongside some Wheat Thins and Chicken in a Biscuit or even just basic Ritz.
Antipasto
So this means I can have dunkaroos and fruit snacks charcuterie isn’t off the table right?
Is it me, or are the cheap meats more appetizing than the expensive meats.
um where do i buy a honeycomb ?
This was great! I learned a lot and kept laughing🤣
How the hell is that $130–Ohhh, you bought grapes.
Isn’t that meat processed
