6 THRIFTY Fall Kitchen Decorating Ideas!

Hello friends, today I am sharing 6 thrifty fall kitchen decorating ideas that I hope are an inspiration to you as we head into fall! There are so many beautiful, affordable decor options out there that I am sharing today, but what better way to start this video than with a delicious cup of tea?

I am so thankful to Buydeem for this amazing 6 in 1 tea maker! Recently I shared on Instagram that I have been trying to enjoy tea more and I was so thankful for all of your recommendations! Many of you recommended using a tea maker, so when Buydeem reached out with this easy to use, high end tea maker I was SO excited about this partnership!

I share a lot more about this incredible tea maker in the video of course, but as a busy momma, some of my favorite things about it are that it keeps tea warm for over an hour and it has 5 different cooking modes! #buydeem #buydeemteamaker #buydeemfoodie

Dollar General is the only store I pass on my way home from work. They have really come a long way in the last few years. I love your white pumpkin! Iโ€™m curious, what material is your kitchen counter? I love your house, but your kitchen makes me swoon ๐Ÿ˜Š

I have such a hard time with vision and knowing how to put things together but I know my style when I see it and I just love your home! Curious if you could pick your countertops (I think they were that when you bought the house), if you would stay with the darker countertops or do something different in that kitchen. Our kitchen is a very similar galley kitchen and the laminate countertops are falling apart. I just cant decide whether to go with a lighter color or black but I cant imagine your kitchen without the black ๐Ÿ˜…

Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ I always have copper, but add some fall decor such as miniature pumpkins ๐ŸŽƒ leaves ๐Ÿ fairy lights..around my open shelves. I also display pretty fall dishes behind my โ€œDaily Fall dishes.โ€ These dishes are out until Christmasโ€ฆ

  21. Lorre M253 on February 27, 2023 at 6:16 am

I prefer green teas and roobios, not sure that is spelled right. Black teas are a little bitter if not steeped correctly. Tfs all your ideas!

Thanks for sharing your great tips ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ

I’m with you, it’s still a little bit early to pull out the pumpkins but I still love all the fall feels. I was just thinking I need to get some new smells going on and then this video mentioned diffusers. I’ve never used them before. Where do you get your oils from?

  24. Gaila Cook on February 27, 2023 at 6:18 am

  26. I Heart China on February 27, 2023 at 6:20 am

Thank you for this sweet video! I live in China – and we do not have a dollar store, or anything like it . . . BUT – we have found that using fruits/beans/cut reeds/breads and other natural items . . . we can make our home cozy for fall!!!! SO THANKFUL!!!

  27. cinder on February 27, 2023 at 6:21 am

It’s funny that you think dollar stores don’t have anything nice and still others think that of thrift stores. Personally I’m more with you, I seldom look at the dollar store for crafts or decor and I love the thrift store shopping. All of your ideas are really great. Thank you for the video.

  28. Rachelle Brooke on February 27, 2023 at 6:21 am

I love incorporating all of those same items in my fall kitchen decorating! Just this morning my eight year old son brought in the most beautiful branch with autumn leaves, and I hung it up in the kitchen! He knows me so well and I truly love the way it looks. Iโ€™ll keep it up until I decorate for winter!

  30. Lynne W on February 27, 2023 at 6:22 am

As always such great ideas. I love copper in the fall!

  31. Dolores Pearson on February 27, 2023 at 6:23 am

Glass diffuser are so much better…because you are not adding any water so you get the full scent coming out mine fills my whole den which is 18×30 and my kitchen as well I bought the large one it was a bit pricey but so worth it! No plastic chemicals ๐Ÿ™‚I am gonna buy another one…I bought the ArOmis brand…โ˜บ๏ธ

  32. C VonSutphen on February 27, 2023 at 6:23 am

*Copper and Amber Glass* . I have a lot of oil rubbed bronze and wrought iron in my home. I love adding in copper for an accent metal. I swap out clear glass for amber in fall and winter, love the cozy vibe.

  33. j w on February 27, 2023 at 6:25 am

That tea maker is amazing, putting it on my Christmas wish list. I really like that bundle of all the same floral picks, way better than mix and matching like I normally try to do!

  34. Julie Shouse on February 27, 2023 at 6:27 am

Andrea I love your channel you inspire me to keep my house cleaner and more cozy!! You have such a great style! I always look forward to your videos!

  39. jan myers on February 27, 2023 at 6:31 am

You always have such good ideas. I just wanted to tell you, I spray my died leaves and flowers with a clear spray, and they last for years.

  40. Michele Dryden on February 27, 2023 at 6:32 am

Last year I used a branch with maroon leaves that had dropped off a tree in my yard. It became the focal point in my living room. I plan on looking in my yard and down the street to find it’s replacement. I also bought a white wired acorn filled with dried roses, scorns, and bark. This year I’m going to add essential oils to it, per your suggestion. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  41. June Roberts on February 27, 2023 at 6:32 am

Such a sweet kitchen. What are the names of the white and green paint colours you used in your beautiful home?

  42. Cathy Whitney on February 27, 2023 at 6:32 am

Love Copper, love white, as for the dollar tree I make many wonderful items from them.

  43. Vickie Marker on February 27, 2023 at 6:34 am

Such lovely items. I plan to bring out my Momโ€™s copper tea pot and mums are a must. I have already been burning candles! Cozy season is upon us in Ohio.

  44. Jennifer Decorates on February 27, 2023 at 6:39 am

Hey girl! Great video! I need to learn more about making great tea! Loved the Little House on the Prairie books in the shot!

  45. bluesky7226 on February 27, 2023 at 6:41 am

Love copper! I’ve found most of mine at estate sales. Yes, do make sure to remove your tea when the timer goes off or you will have very bitter tea. ๐Ÿ’ Also, Andrea, look for soy or beeswax candles. They are better for you than the ones made of paraffin.

  46. lavetta moff on February 27, 2023 at 6:42 am

I have been a tea drinker since I was a little kid. That tea maker looks awesome.

  47. Diana Pineiro on February 27, 2023 at 6:42 am

  48. Rachelle Brooke on February 27, 2023 at 6:43 am

I bought a cream colored ceramic pumpkin shaped soup tureen with ladle the first fall after getting married 17 years ago, and I still love it so much! I bought it on a whim at a very nice grocery store and I canโ€™t believe how well it has worked out. We still use it, in fact I just made some soup and canโ€™t wait to serve it from it.

  49. Jack on February 27, 2023 at 6:43 am

    Andrea,
Where did you get your stove?? Love it! Love all of the ideas, thank you! Iโ€™m off to the DG!!

This is not specifically for fall, but incorporates fall. A number of years ago, after Christmas, I purchased a large, artificial, evergreen wreath. It hangs on my front door. Then I have seasonal picks. Obviously at Christmas time I add red berries. For winter I add white berries and some twigs, Spring, I pop in some artificial tulips and daffodils. Summer I arrange small sunflowers throughout. Fall is time for some brightly coloured leaves in red, yellow and orange. I keep each season in a separate, large zip-lock bag. To these artificial picks I often add fresh flowers or variegated greenery from my garden. The sky is the limit in how creative you want to be. Although I am not a bow person, if you wish you can buy ribbon and make bows that coordinate with your theme.
