ABOUT MAKING CAMPFIRES
Due to years of drought and massive wildfires, lighting campfires during hiking season in the Sierra Nevada is no longer recommended. If you do make a campfire, be sure to check all current burn bans and follow all fire regulations as per the land management and permitting agency for your trip area. In addition to your backcountry permit, you must obtain a separate California fire permit in the Sierra. Fire sites near brush, trees, pine duff and other flammable materials are no longer safe. Choose bare rock if possible. Other fire safety methods for clearing a site include cleaning the fire site down to bare dirt, but this counterindicates Leave No Trace principles of minimal impact, which campers should follow at all times in the backcountry. Don’t cut wood for fires, choose pre-impacted tent sites, take care not to damage vegetation, pack absolutely all trash, consumables and TP out with you. If you have a legal campfire, make absolutely certain no sparks escape to spread the fire, and put out the fire entirely after you are done with it, using the drown-stir-feel method described in the CA Fire Permit safety test. Don’t be the reason for the next giant burn in the Sierra. Take only photos, leave only footprints.

Just beautiful. The hiking, the views, the editing, the music, the silence. Nature as it should be. Pure, simplistic and soul-stirring. Well done! Well done!
Absolutely beautiful.
what a beautiful place I have gone to yosemite twice but never actually explore it like you hopefully one day I will.
The most beautiful place on earth ❤️
divine will unity
If that wasn’t a slice of heaven on earth…
amazing place. you so lucky to have experienced it.
Thank you so much for these beautiful moments.
Amazing.
Hello Harmen, I congratulate you for your excellent videos on excursions. I like them a lot because you manage to convey the beauty of the (impressive) landscapes, unlike others who record videos where they spend most of their time talking nonsense and making the audience fall asleep bored in front of the screen. Keep it up. Greetings from Caracas. Sigue asi. Saludos desde Caracas.
I did part of this hike. It’s exactly like I remember it!
You deserve more subscribers! I just recently found this channel and the videos are so wholesome. Very relaxing and calm!
Feels healing
waooo…. sorprendente!!
Herman fantastic scenery , good work bud 👋👋👍
Hi Harmen, I live up here in the Pacific Northwest so I’m familiar with the great forest trails available for hikers. I love your videos. They’re great places for hiking adventures. One thing I’m curious about though (since I am from Washington State)….have you had any strange encounters in your travels? Heard anything unusual out there in the Sierra’s? 👣👣
Why do these people keep taking chances by hiking alone. Its idiotic. And even after all the hikers that have died, it would make sense to have others with them.
I think you would triple your views if you talked a little more
The production quality here is INCREDIBLE, definitely need more subs this is too good.
Have you done Banff yet , would like to know out of interest , Thnx 👍🙏
Hopefully this guy is aware of David Paulides missing 411 cases in U.S National Parks, especially Yosemite!
Always so delightful…. Are those lights crossing in the night airplanes? Thanks for sharing!
I would love to do this…I need to check into it.
beautiful scenery – and great work doing all this filming on oneself
I stayed home more than a month and I think the boredom is killing me bro 😂 I know some of you are agree on that 😂
Quanta bellezza…Quante emozioni! GRAZIE! 😍

You Live a blessed and peaceful life my friend and we are lucky that we get to experience this vicariously
Wow~amazing scenery I’ve seen ever. The algorithm showed me your footage. Shooting, editing, everything is perfect. 👍
Just curious, did you bring any bear spray or weapon in case of bears or mountain lions?
💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
Wish I could show the backhills of Pennsylvania. Though not as beautiful as Yosemite. Good job, makes you feel like your in.
Best Minecraft gameplay so far!👌😆🌳🌲🪵🪓
Is it ever scary to camp alone in the backwoods like that? I’ve got a lot of parks, but that seems desolate. A lot of people go missing their each year. Probably cartels and stuff.
the video is so cool It’s amazing. good to see.
Hi just finished watching the Yosemite epic adventure you’re camera work and editing is 10-10 to be honest the silence in your video was breathtaking because you let everything unfold as it happened no extra in the moment pure thank you. JoP
7 days alone in Yosemite…with a camera crew…and cell phones…all with the purpose to make a video…nothing is organic anymore…and I know im probably sounding bitchy but its true🤷
You sure do some excellent video work, I really enjoyed it
The nighttime Timelapse shots…just magic! Made my heart warm up
와…가슴이 벅차오르네요…
EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE VIDEO.
I drive across the country from costal Oregon to Georgia earlier to run away from myself and an ex. I tried to stop at as many national parks and talk to as many people as I could. You have inspired to me to not only continue my solo travel adventure, but to hone my creativity and document my journey. You are truly living the dream, my man
Thank you.your video makes me feel relax
Your videos give happiness to my soul. Thank you so much for creating this soulful, incredible content!
Very nice video
I thought that fires are only allowed in existing fire rings
fantastic, too beautiful not to watch
Curious if you are allowed to bring your dog with your for this kind of trip?
