I enjoy rewatching this video because the colors and patterns are a joy to look at. I can’t imagining taking apart a chandelier to customize it or hand painting a room before a showing. This decorator is my hero. I wish I had her insight.

This isn’t maximalist or minimalist. It’s just standard.

It’s so creative, but… it’s too much information for my taste. ☺️

  20. Vivien Mcnaul on December 21, 2022 at 1:54 am

Loved the colors. The master bedroom stunning

  21. Heidi Miller on December 21, 2022 at 1:55 am

The decorations are ugly. The house is just fine. The color scheme is psychotic: why put blue fabric on couches in a green room? The pink lamp shades don’t match and hurt my eyes to look at it. The oversized blue vase between the chairs behind the living room couch is intimidating. It’s too large for that space. The green and white curtains do not match anything except the T.V. room, so why aren’t they in that room?

Please select the background music more carefully. It’s loud and unbearable. Thanks

I 💗💗💗 the color factor of maximalist design. The black bedroom is heaven.

  33. Ida Mcloughlin on December 21, 2022 at 2:12 am

    Too much.

  34. Jc Larcon on December 21, 2022 at 2:13 am

everything a house should be so happy place and comfy. I can’t stand white and beige and open spaces so outdated maximalist is the way to go

  35. nicholby2112 on December 21, 2022 at 2:15 am

I am of the school of neutrals and calm colors and I’m stunned at how amazing this house is. It’s so not me but I adore it and it makes me want to start using more color in my client’s work. Brava!

  36. Laura on December 21, 2022 at 2:15 am

Absolutely magnificent! Love the entire design!!!! What a treat to the eye! Cheers

Chef’s kiss ma’am! Chef’s freaking kiss! Love it.

  38. IAmThatIAm on December 21, 2022 at 2:21 am

I’ve watched a number of episodes of Schumacher1889 recently and quite a few of them have the maximalist mindset. Until I watched this episode, I didn’t realize how "staged" the other homes felt — like, how many books were PILED on every table space or counter. Nice for the video but feels quite inauthentic. This home, however, feels sophisticated, dramatic, elegant, beautiful, and REAL. How refreshing and heartwarming!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful video.

  39. Kermit the Frog on December 21, 2022 at 2:22 am

Great to visit but I would have to leave after a few hours.

  40. Kathy Toth on December 21, 2022 at 2:22 am

What gorgeous, colorful, happy space! Thx for sharing💖💜💙

  41. Jacqueline on December 21, 2022 at 2:23 am

Not my colors but the result is wonderful. I agree with her. I don’t like white

  42. Mary Elizabeth on December 21, 2022 at 2:24 am

The owner has such a calm energy about her and yet her home screams revved mojo for days! I love it. I’m not a maximalist but I could live in this gorgeous, color-drenched house easily. It feels luxurious and decadent and naughty somehow. Just so much to take in and enjoy. Thanks for sharing.

  43. xxx 000 on December 21, 2022 at 2:26 am

Thank You for finally showcasing a space that is not all gray, beige and black!

  44. Christ born on December 21, 2022 at 2:29 am

.Make furniture ,crown moulding, door, light fixture and wall all – green 🤣.light fixture can be matchy color but not has to exactly same. again make furnture green😂i will feel like blind in this room thank God she kept handle on cabinets otherwise hard to find cabinets location or where is door . kitchen is great

  45. Sheila on December 21, 2022 at 2:29 am

I love everything about this. Yes, I too have started to embrace colour and what a difference it has made. I still retain some warm white in areas, but the contrasting pops of colour look great. I can also relate to the kitchen scenario, as, had I changed mine a couple of years or so earlier, my choice would have also been different. So glad I waited ♥️🤗

  46. Theresa in the USVI on December 21, 2022 at 2:30 am

Finally… a kindred spirit, who likes walls. I like having the ability to slip into another room to have a private conversation or create a special cozy space for time alone.

That home has a ton of personality! I prefer neutrals but truly can appreciate rooms like these!

  50. Sandy Heredia on December 21, 2022 at 2:32 am

When I first bought my house 25 years ago I painted my entire living room including ceiling, cranberry! I loved it! My sofas were burgundy and I used a lot of pink around the room!
