Hello Lou. I came on this channel to ask you this question about free camping in Florida. I want to stay at Lake Panasoffkee WMA. I went on watermatters to make my reservation because that’s what it said to do. I did everything right and it said an email was sent to me for details. I did this yesterday. I haven’t received the email. My question is what should I do? I don’t want to post my dates on here for privacy. Thank you.

  8. LouisaG on February 17, 2023 at 8:09 am

Awesome! Will watch the playlist to see the details of each… Generally speaking do you have to reserve way in advance, similar to state parks ??

I stayed at Camp Dupuis for a week last winter. Great place to get away. Indiantown was a cool little place for getting ice and doing laundry.

any free spots near the east coast beaches?

  11. Andy Candal on February 17, 2023 at 8:14 am

South Florida east coast is governed by useless bureaucrats and political prostitutes concerned with making money out of tourism so free camping is alien to them. They don’t have the mentality of a free american citizen…but a banana republic style little brain.

There used to be lots of free camping/rv sites in the Everglades. Now the state has taken them over and they are expensive. They also have blocked off many of the dirt roads as well. Things were so much better in Florida when I was younger. Nothing like people and guberment to ruin things.

  23. Expressive Pets on February 17, 2023 at 8:27 am

Can I tent camp w/my dogs? I can’t tell which sites allow tents.

In the past year have you looked for or found anymore free sites in Flawda

  48. Rex King on February 17, 2023 at 9:00 am

Where can you get the free permits

  49. Peppermynt Patti on February 17, 2023 at 9:02 am

I have looked and looked for info on the permits for Fla. I’ve watched a few videos but I’m just not coming across it. Is there a video about how to obtain them or what the permits are about? Is there one permit for Florida or do you need multiple? I cannot find the information. I’ve watched the free campsite video for Florida and it mentions that other videos give the info, but I need some help. 🙏🏻
