That’s not a St. Louis Cardinal, but rather an Arizona Cardinal.

Don’t go to Peoria Arizona if you want to squat for free. Arizona Land Trust requires a permit good for 14days total in a calendar year. PD enforces it and is relentless. I guess the residents have had enough of this.

It took a Canadian to express the true spirit of Southern Arizona. Sadly it is negated by thousands of Scottsdale transplants that are trying to turn Arizona into an air conditioned, corporate driven, Apple store Peyton place of dead suburbs. Keep the cowboy spirit alive.

Beware of the frybread, for every bite you’ll gain five to ten lbs.

The one thing most frustrating to me is FINDING FREE SHOWERS!
Where are these elusive creatures. I am planning to go to Roswell and then southern Arizona in January.
Looking for free camping, free showers, gold & haunted places.

Slim, just love your old gramma phone. I remember an old Victrola we had when I was a kid, would play old carbon records.
Thanks for sharing all the great information.

Just wanted to tell you that I thoroughly enjoy your videos! They are scenic, thoughtful, humorous, intriguing, interesting and very entertaining. Thank you for a wonderful video. I binge watched a few episodes when I first discovered your channel. Had to reign myself in and set limits or I would have run out of our visits. That’s what these feel like. We are sitting at the kitchen table and you are sharing pictures and stories of your travels, trials, tribulations and triumphs! Good Job Sir. Very Good Job.

You are great! Thank you so much for your time& thoughts. Both of my grown children are established in AZ . Now with granddaughters there , I’ll be coming out from CA much more. Single, and carefully spending, having free sites is really wonderful.

We are scouting out land to boondock on in AZ right now lol. I’m a bit worried about the snakes. Any safety tips for people with kids and pets?

  33. Fiddle Footed on March 1, 2022 at 12:19 am

Thanks for the video..The fry bread you had was a Navajo taco. The fry bread part is the bottom. A lot of places make it with honey or powered sugar an call it elephant ears…In Gallup NM fry bread is common in all restaurants and roadside stands…..God bless….C-Ya

I’m sorry but when I heard you say "when it gets really, really hot, like today it’s in the 80’s" I busted up. I plan to make Snyder Hill my first site. I found this video when I was looking for the spot I will go to following Snyder Hill. Now, this is a good start. I can make these spots my first five.

  36. Candece on March 1, 2022 at 12:20 am

Too bad the one place is closed. Maybe they could re open if they put markers where you are permitted to camp and limit the # of people.

  37. Bill Rinard on March 1, 2022 at 12:21 am

Dummy, that was an Arizona Cardinal, you know, for the fans of the NFL team! Also, my daughter gets those grills at Walmart. They are cookie cooling sheets. They are also on Amazon.

St. Louis fan? You’re not that far from the home of the Arizona Cardinals football team.

I love Oak Flats, and didn’t experience the busyness you did.

When you do videos like this, could you add links to google maps, or lat/long coordinates?

  45. Susan Bickersteth on March 1, 2022 at 12:34 am
