We missed a great opportunity to view a wonderful *SHOTGUN* New Orleans home.

Dear Miss Hodges, love your beautiful home but you can’t buy love anything in New Orleans. As I was watching this blog of this epitome of the South I could imagine waking up as a guess having eggs benedict, shrimp and grits, and coffee then a little later on mimosas. Everything in your home is exquisite. Thank you for sharing it. A Texas Fan
The hostess moves so graciously from room to room. She seems to glide.
Beautiful home!!!
The window/doors are brilliant!
When monogramming was all the rage in the early 80s I refused to do it. Now I get monogramming on lots of things & love it.
I absolutely love this channel and the incredibly creative people and homes you visit.
My only (with love) critique would be – the sound. Micโs would bring the sound to the level everything else nests at – which is sublime.
All the best.
Beautiful ๐ป
Monograms are SO southern. โค๏ธ My Charleston upbringing just melts for a good monogram. โค๏ธ

Just the bessst show ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Late to the party, I know, but I just love that gorgeous, glossy green! Also the Wirehaired Pointing Griffons!!!
Ohhhhhhhh Jane !!!!! Just received my new issue of Veranda with your bedroom redo. I think Iโm in HEAVEN. THANK YOU, darling, for the feast for my eyes & soul. You are a kind woman to share !!!! ( Stacy : please get Jane this message & itโs time for a revisit !!!!!! ) kisses ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Fun and beautiful. Really creative and different. Love ALL THE LINEN. Thank you for sharing your home. Only in New Orleans will you find the greatest individual creativity. ๐ฟ๐๐บ๐ธ
The sound is terrible.
I like this style, but I prefer Ashley Whittaker cause she doesn’t hold back and much more bolder with wallpaper prints. I don’t love the modern arts in this home, but I do love people to embrace color and prints in their homes.
Beautiful home definitely million dollar status. Wouldโve loved to see the exposed brick fireplaces
She reminds me of a southern Kate Spade.

Originally i used ann dupuy of new Orleans for interior design. What a waste of time and money . Very hard to deal with , end project was nothing like what we agreed on , timing of the project was way over . I wouldn’t recommend dupuy to do my dogs house . Very unprofessional and rude .
What is the color name and brand on the walls?
I love your place mat and all your color New Orleans
Mixing the classic with the modern takes skill but she tried.

New Orleans still has some very beautiful places. Beautiful!
Eleganza e buon gusto straordinario
oh those curtains, LOVE THEM!!!
This is the first home owner I’ve seen who doesn’t have a dog.
Loved this tour and home!!! I loved hearing her talk!!! While Iโm fifth of six generations from Baton Rouge, I grew up in Lexington, Kentucky (hubbyโs from Louisiana, as well!!). Thereโs so much to love about this home and its style!!! Thank you for another wonderful, guided tour!!! โค๏ธ
What a lovely house! Everything perfect!!!
OMG, just seeing this video (watched it 3tx in a row already lol) Too many elements of excitement to mention in this beautifully decorated home. I especially love how Jane Scott Hodges mixed periods/styles to make this Old colonial home connect with guests today. Her decision to incorporate lots of modern art into these traditional spaces is wonderful. Plus, all the custom linens… drop dead gorgeous stuff. FANTASTIC.
Watching this for the third or fourth time. I blame quarantine. But who can help me identify the amber goblets Jane used in the still photos with the Derby Old Imari?
Any tabletop lover that can help cure my obsession? Haha. They’re pictured but not mentioned in her book.
Bless her heart
Merci, Susanna, Stacey and Jane! Enchanting… http://www.missmurrydesign.com in Sausalito, California
My fav totally bright white blk kitchen so smooth. Uber indulgent an elevator โค๏ธ it……….๐ค๐จ๐ฆ
Wow, love the green walls!
A voice over would be more pertinent. The architecture and gardens is what maters.
Beautiful home!! Just curious is she really has her initials all over the house.
For myself, I would want stronger elements of the old south blended with the very nice things she owns.
The last linen with yellow stitching! So happy!
Susanna YOU need to STOP being RUDE to the HOSTS of your show…. STOP INTERRUPTING THEM!!!
Is Susanna wearing Chanel
โSuch a traditionalist but yet notโ oh I relate so much๐๐ I saw a comment I left 4-5 years ago..canโt help but come back๐
I love watching your videos.

Do you mind sharing the exterior paint color?
I love all her unusual and simply stunning choices! She is also wearing a lovely shift in a gorgeous colour! Enjoyed this visit to a wonderful home!
Looks very expensive, even the napkins.
Fresh and very exciting!
Beautiful. It all works so well together. But it works only in huge spaces. Try it in a small apartment and all these patterns would kill you ๐
