On YouTube, I could always tell which is our local homes interior and which is not (I’m fan of interior design) without even clicking on the video. Wish you could do a proper tour of your newly renovated place rather than cut snippets of film showing before and after. It’s hard to imagine how the whole house looks for example when you walk in, around how long before you reach the utility? From the living hall, what do you pass through before going to the bedroom? Looks more like an interior design showcase video instead.

The layout looks so much like my friend’s (stay alone) home at Toa Payoh, but the ID she got did not do such design for her, yet cost more than S$50K. Probably yours value for money if the cost of renovation more or less the same. Wonder how are you going to manage so many plants. Fengshui wise probably got a bit of … if you believe. Otherwise it is an awesome design.

I’d love to design my own flat too. Might you be open to do a step-by-step guide on your process and how you communicated your ideas, wants, and needs to the contractor? I’d love to know what softwares you used to map out your floor plan or did you sketch it out bit by bit? Also did you buy the flat and do the reno or did you live in it for a bit?
BEING SINGLE is a blessing but in case you have a partner and need to use a toilet while you still using the only one. I hear, its possible to make another toilet in the other bathroom?
I think beautiful. On the other hand, I think you should not buy this resale hdb because there is only got one toilet. What if you invite your friend to your house and both of you urgently need toilet. I always recommend ppl not to buy this kind of hdb. Most likely next time you want to sell this hdb will be diffcult.
