Built this Office Desk / Set Up / walk through / BLACK & YELLOW

In this video I will show the desk I built for the computer, I will go over details how I built the desk, give some ideas so others that might want to build their own can do so. This was all done on a budget, using 100% my own ideas & designs. The small office / room has 2 themes, Black and Yellow & Stainless steel and Glass. The top is made entirely of glass. I used black melamine for the main body of the desk & added aluminum accent pieces with stainless steel laminate around the top. I added glass shelf’s, painted the walls yellow, window blind aluminum, added a new wood floor & carpet.
I have most of the build on a memory chip and plan on editing that into a step by step video in the near future.
Was built from 12/26/11 – 12/31/11
Placed on youtube in 2011….
Just made public in 2016…….

ok, I just watched this, lol
I recorded it in 2012 & put it on the tubes then. Its funny to see how much of a budget I was on during the grand recession of 2008… Im not even sure if this will go on the subscriber feed, lol

    I remember this build.
_You should get some stainless steel shelving mounts too, maybe some LED’s to light the back edge & give wall light._
Also, you could buy or fabricate 3-4 stainless steel corner glass protectors, would bring out the whole glass & stainless look. _Plus it could save those corners if something was to chip them?_

I’m thinking some light green and or blue LEDS would look cool in certain areas of the desk and under too! IMO

Pilkington/NSG makes some industrial glass for this purpose, some really cool and strong stuff. I work at Pilkington #77 making back lights (windows) for MANY autos, you see NSG/Pilkington #77 on your back window, I might’ve made it!

Great clean looking job! (besides the screw in the floor) j/k
    Cheers,

Fantastic job. It looks like you paid hundreds and hundreds for that desk. Not really my taste but I appreciate the amazing work and design that you accomplished with stuff around the house and I love that you are so happy with the outcome.

Nice. It doesn’t even look like you were even repurposing materials – just clean and custom.
