CAMP AT MUSIC FESTIVALS LIKE A PRO | A DETAILED LOOK AT MY CAMPING SETUP

In preparation for Big Foot Electro, I made some content in June revolving around packing and preparing for camping music festivals. You can check out those videos below using the following links:

1. CAMPING FESTIVAL TIPS FOR STRESS FREE PACKING:

2. HOW I PREPARE & PACK FOR A CAMPING MUSIC FESTIVAL:

As a part of my camping process I recommend constructing a mock setup of your campsite to get an idea of how much space you’ll be taking up, what stuff you have, what stuff you need, and what needs to be cleaned or repaired. You can watch a detailed video regarding this matter below:

PREPARING YOUR CAMPSITE FOR A MUSIC FESTIVAL:

However, this time instead of doing a mock setup, I did a complete setup so I could show you guys how I setup my campsite, what items I bring, how I put these items to use and show off some camp hacks we’ve discovered. The goal of this video is to get you prepared as possible for upcoming festivals this season so you can have a confident, fun and comfortable festival camping experience!

If you are concerned on what to pack for a camping music festival check out this video I made to help you:

Best festival campsite video by FAR. The spray bottle tip is gold! ✨✨✨

  2. Bim Ron on April 17, 2023 at 11:49 am

You should invest in straight leg canopies instead of those slant leg canopies. Your sidewalls would fit a lot better. There are more accessories for a straight leg canopies as well.

So my question is earlier in the video around 0:48 you have a tarp under your tent but then you said it’s not a good idea because it will pool under and to have the tarp INSIDE the tent.. which is better or do you do both? I’m just confused lol thank you!!

  4. BraJoe96 on April 17, 2023 at 11:51 am

Going to be car camping at Nocturnal this year. From what I know camp sites are 10×10 so I doubt we could go all out like you, but we’ll figure something out.

  5. Echo Starrling on April 17, 2023 at 11:51 am

Definitely doing the rain protection for Imagine this weekend

  6. Chelsea Allen -Scream is the best horror movie. on April 17, 2023 at 11:52 am

I love those ziploc totes, honestly hadn’t thought to use them for fests…looks like I need to buy some more.

  7. C B. on April 17, 2023 at 11:53 am

Dude ditch the lanterns and lights invest in some battery power led lights stripping and zip tie it to the easy up! $20 on Amazon and you can use it to light up your camp or have them change colors!!

  8. Deshawn Velasquez on April 17, 2023 at 11:54 am

Dope vid! I’m going to my second LIB next week. Stoked!

  9. 307 ARTist on April 17, 2023 at 11:57 am

@12:00 when your talking about the sun shade blowing into your shit. the solution for that is to tie a small rope from the easy up to the ground then steak it down so its tight. then tie another rope in the middle of that one and tie it to the legs making a big + on the inside of the sun wall or tarp. do that and youll be totally stoked at how well it works.

I’m gonna be at lost lands with a broken hand, if you’re there, sign my cast!

  12. buck wheat on April 17, 2023 at 12:03 pm

How many wagons does it take to haul all that gear into fest? Is it a pain? Or nah with good wagons?

  13. Austin Outdoors on April 17, 2023 at 12:05 pm

You needa try the new dawn pro wash dish spray shit! So freaking easy to clean dishes and only need water to rinse

  14. MOVIES on April 17, 2023 at 12:06 pm

If you run paracord in an X across the across the sun shade on the inside of your chill space t’ll give it a little bit of structure to not blow into your table space

  15. L Webber on April 17, 2023 at 12:06 pm

Found you bc I’m planning my roadtrip from MA to Welcome to Rockville 2023 camping at Daytona Speedway in May.

I’m a New England camper and use to having fire, tree cover and occasional electricity.
Your tips are great! But the weather will the the most difficult part of this camping. God awful sun or thunderstorms with tornados & hail? lol

Planning on hard totes, and car camping for safety if needed.

Taking notes and looking forward to watching your other video’s.

  16. Guncho06 on April 17, 2023 at 12:08 pm

    What does clutch mean?

  17. Forrest Wilms on April 17, 2023 at 12:08 pm

Something that I haven’t seen on your lists is muck boots! When it rains it gets super sloppy and those have been a good idea for me. And insoles!! Cause they have no support.

  18. Cisco on April 17, 2023 at 12:11 pm

    Sick channel

  19. edenswrite on April 17, 2023 at 12:14 pm

You’re over tarping your tent area. 3 walls is overkill. I know you’re protecting your tent from wind and rain, but you’re also eliminating airflow making your tent area much hotter than it needs to be.

  20. Mary Mccauley on April 17, 2023 at 12:16 pm

I came here from a recommendation of you on the starbase mission control group on facebook, thanks for all this info! Really needed it

  21. James L. Wilber on April 17, 2023 at 12:16 pm

Good stuff. But you guys should come to a pagan festival sometime and see how it’s done.

  22. Henry Allen on April 17, 2023 at 12:17 pm

That was comprehensive. I now feel overwhelmed and underprepared. However, I also feel inspired. Thanks for the video.

  23. Brent Osburn on April 17, 2023 at 12:18 pm

Just a tip for 15:40 being 4 pool noodles and you set them up as support in the top of your easy up! Keeps water from pooling up pretty good.

  24. Staxila on April 17, 2023 at 12:18 pm

Please put more random cuts in the first minute ❤

  27. edenswrite on April 17, 2023 at 12:25 pm

    Use a headlamp.

  28. Nicole on April 17, 2023 at 12:28 pm

Bro, that static break is killing the video. Couldn’t finish watching.

  29. Wylie Redfearn on April 17, 2023 at 12:29 pm

If you tied a rope to the frame of your canopy and staked it at an angle in the ground it would keep the wind from blowing that shadewall in to your set up.

  30. Phil B on April 17, 2023 at 12:30 pm

First fest is Lost Lands 2022 baby! thanks for the tips!

  34. Daniel Ramirez on April 17, 2023 at 12:35 pm

    How do you shower

  35. Nikki Dee on April 17, 2023 at 12:36 pm

Can you make a video on how to pack for when you have to fly to a camping festival?

  36. rickysmom1 on April 17, 2023 at 12:37 pm

Pool noodles seem to be a popular item to use to make the canopy taught and stop water pooling. We’re gonna try that on our next camping trip.

  37. Coldwire on April 17, 2023 at 12:37 pm

I’m flying all the across the country to lost lands, did hotel and shuttles last time but doing glamping this year and I’m so fkn hyped.

  38. Ainsley Brick on April 17, 2023 at 12:38 pm

The one dislike is from the dude that forgot to bring zip ties. lol. Watching this vid to make sure I have everything I need for Lost Lands!!

  39. buck wheat on April 17, 2023 at 12:40 pm

You should get an amazon affiliate account so you can link the stuff you talk about, then you can get some kick back whenever we buy that stuff

  41. Gypsy Crow on April 17, 2023 at 12:42 pm

Way to prove all my overthrowing before my first camping fest, you da man

  42. 876empress on April 17, 2023 at 12:42 pm

Use a pool noodle to put inside between the top of the of the ez up and the bars to stop the rain pooling

  43. Andrew Nielsen on April 17, 2023 at 12:43 pm

Solid info. There is a lot of things in this video that I’ve missed my last few camping fests. Unfortunately, I always have to fly to camping fests. So if it doesn’t fit in my 100 liter and 40 liter bag, it doesn’t come with. But damn, your camp setup is legit.

  44. Fraser Richardson on April 17, 2023 at 12:44 pm

Do people steal stuff at these festivals like lost lands? first time so idrk what to expect

  45. Peter Lesh on April 17, 2023 at 12:44 pm

appreciate you bro and your tips, been to numerous biscos and peach fests never had to camp tho considering i live 10 minutes from montage

  46. Mike A on April 17, 2023 at 12:45 pm

For those who are traveling and do not want to rent pre set-up tents which can be pricey there are several sites that have packages or you can rent things a la carte and pick up at a local retailer or shipped to a UPS store, they include REI Co-op, Arrive Outdoors, Outodoors Geek, and Kit Lender.

  47. Žiga H on April 17, 2023 at 12:45 pm

thanks m8, you’re gonna save my life

  48. Forrest Wilms on April 17, 2023 at 12:46 pm

Are you hitting DFT?? Binging vids because I need to be a pro. Tired of my 2 pole tent and I’m going all in!

  49. Jacob Allen on April 17, 2023 at 12:46 pm

    Hey, thank you

  50. Hais on April 17, 2023 at 12:47 pm

if u have a rainproof tent u dont need the canopy over it, just saying. youre only creating more problems when the rain pools into it and then drips around your tent.
