Camping at Quechee State Park in Vermont

Extra campsite footage is at the end of the video, timestamp 6:38.
Views of Sites: 1, 4, 6, 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, hackberry, 20, 21, 23, Pine, 25, 27, 28, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 (where I camped), 43, 48, 49.

The main portion of the video is a short vlog of my experience.

This one night spontaneous camping trip changed my view of camping! I learned that I do not have to stay at the campground all the time, or hardly any of the time. The best parts of this excursion happened away from the campground. Maybe on future trips, I will feel more free to drive away from my campsite whenever I am not sleeping! Adventure Awaits! Staying at the campsite too much is like getting an adventure van and living in the driveway. Even though I thought I was just going to visit a campground and sit by the fire, my favorite moments happened when I had a clear view of the SKY.

I loved the tour of the campground and didn’t find it boring at all. Here in Vermont, we have beautiful state parks. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks, again – I especially appreciated the ‘boring’ part. You’ve become our ‘go-to’ when we plan our trips, largely because you don’t sensationalize the experience. You camp, and while doing so you share the experience you’re having, not hyping the place. We get a better idea of what to expect should we choose to go, while still highlighting the pluses. Your videos have had a very positive influence on my family and the memories we’ve been able to create because they’ve allowed me to choose locations and sites that we’ve been able to enjoy together and to help us get the most out of that time 🙂

Please don’t think campground tours are boring. You make them interesting, and they’re very helpful. I appreciate them immensely.

I look forward to your videos. You inspire with your down-to-earth personality, and you offer the sense that anyone can do it if they want to.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your videos. It really helps us to pick out the right place to stay at…especially at a place we have never been to. I love the way you walk around the campgrounds and show what each site looks like so that we can pick one that would work out for us. You make very informative and useful videos. So glad that I recently subscribed because I can learn a lot from you. Great video!👍😁
