America, this land was made for you and me, we just need a permit or reservation to see it! How sad in my opinion. Lock the beauty of the national parks behind paywalls like everything else in this world.

  2. James Brooks on June 16, 2022 at 12:36 am

    Welcome to communism.

  3. deere3321 on June 16, 2022 at 12:36 am

We don’t go to our parks anymore because of crowding. One requirement to get into any national park should be US citizenship.

What is the difference between buying the “America The Beautiful: Bridger-Teton National Forest-Ching Fu” pass and the “America The Beautiful: San Juan National Forest-Mark Gruenhaupt” pass?

Thanks so much for this video. I work at the Grand Canyon and just wanted to let everyone know that IT IS MANDATORY that you where a mask 😷 when entering any buildings or riding the shuttle buses. But here’s the good news, if you don’t want to wear the traditional mask, wear a bandanna, scarf, or neck warmer. Just make sure it covers your 👃 nose. And then get out there and breathe our amazing clean air. Happy Hiking! 😎🚐🥾

UPDATE: Yosemite DID add an entrance reservation for 2022. Details here: https://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/reservations.htm

    Very informative

This lady seems to be the spokesperson for the socialist movement in this country. I’m ashamed that I served my country, fought in a war but have to be restricted on the land I defended. I’ll never apply for a permit for a land I defend. You so called rv campers are the sole reason why this is happening. Go somewhere else with your dam house on wheels.

  10. Kevin Cook on June 16, 2022 at 12:47 am

Let me see if I heard you right in your opening remarks: During the Illegal Government shutdown when people were supposed to be hunkering in their houses – they actually ran out and inundated the National Park system? You assert that they didn’t travel less and stay home as commanded (but we actually know they traveled less because gas purchases plummeted) but jumped in their cars and headed out of town to strange towns and campgrounds with absolutely no fear of the virus or of being away from trusted medical treatment if they should catch it?? I can see that happening this year but not during the Scamdemic. Let’s be honest here – The government has used the shutdowns to scale back public travel to public lands and parks in response to radical environmentalists who would, if they could, not allow humans in any of these wilderness areas and to continue the power grab of controlling everything we do.

  11. biketothetop on June 16, 2022 at 12:48 am

It’s time they started a reservation system for the toilets.

  12. Susie Pittman on June 16, 2022 at 12:50 am

Thanks for the straightforward helpful information.

  13. john dace on June 16, 2022 at 12:51 am

Whatever happened to just campin’. No vans, rvs just actual campin.

  14. Mark I on June 16, 2022 at 12:51 am

They really need to let people make reservations only 3 months in advance. It’s crazy people reserve spots they don’t even know if they will use 6 months in advance. Make them pay for not using them.

  15. David Hall on June 16, 2022 at 12:54 am

    Great info

  16. Shawn Norrell on June 16, 2022 at 12:56 am

Every thing in this country is becoming communist. What BS. They are not national parks if you need reservations. They are private property charging fees for something that was supposed to be open to every citizen. What a shame. This country is no longer free Communist America ? Is this how you want your children to grow up? National Parks should forever be free to anyone at any time I’m ashamed to be an American citizen anymore because of all the stupid people and laws that we are supposed to follow. What the Hell happened to our freedom? 🙁🐑

  17. Yooper Dog on June 16, 2022 at 12:56 am

Great video glad Pictured Rocks is changing a fee. Over crowding has been a problem in recent years. Tough for us locals to get out and enjoy these places. Although they do have a Yoopers ride free day on the boat tours.

  18. Stephen Inglett on June 16, 2022 at 12:57 am

    What about the annual pass???

  19. DAVE WICKMAN on June 16, 2022 at 12:57 am

    Ban GINORMUS RVS

  20. Tom Maurer on June 16, 2022 at 12:59 am

It would be great if they’d reduce foreign travelers. I’d like more opportunities for Americans to enjoy their country. It’s probably not a popular opinion, but i think it’s appropriate.

  21. Anne N. Nimity on June 16, 2022 at 12:59 am

    I ain’t wearing no f**king mask..

  22. coyote simple life on June 16, 2022 at 12:59 am

I wish you gona be the only one in park.no more public coming.you are deep state .

  23. Julie Bolduc on June 16, 2022 at 1:00 am

Do you people see how our government is already controlling our every move? No? Might want to wake up. These are OUR lands. They are maintained by PAID government officials. OUR LANDS. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

  24. RobG Offroad on June 16, 2022 at 1:00 am

Due to this reservation BS, I’ve abandoned all hope of visiting the parks. I hate crowds, and the way my travel plans are, I have no idea when I will be in a given area. So screw ’em.

  25. David Kral on June 16, 2022 at 1:00 am

    Less service, higher prices.

  26. Hagar Wilson on June 16, 2022 at 1:04 am

Before you know it you will need to reserve a toilet seat 6 months out.

  27. Candie Harris on June 16, 2022 at 1:04 am

money and more tax to live

  30. patrick burgmeier on June 16, 2022 at 1:07 am

Never used to have a reservation and/ or pay a fee if a person was traveling thru on business. I think that this still holds true. You can check into it.

  31. Randi Rainwater on June 16, 2022 at 1:08 am

  36. Ricardo roams on June 16, 2022 at 1:12 am

This is one of the few times I’m glad I’m old. I started visiting National Parks in the late 50’s with my parents. Over the years I’ve been to most of the more popular parks many times. And I’m so glad. I wouldn’t want to have to deal with the crowds, reservations, etc. Now I spend my time getting into the less popular, more remote areas.

  37. quartytypo on June 16, 2022 at 1:15 am

National parks should do like Las Vegas and charge a resort fee

  38. Insideout Fitness Fan on June 16, 2022 at 1:20 am

    Great info. Thank you

  39. LauraVescent Photography on June 16, 2022 at 1:20 am

Thanks for the info, ironic because I had a job interview to become a reservation agent for wildlife parks and other places like that. I am actually really annoyed. I understand on one hand that parks are busy and some people don’t respect nature and leave garbage, although I don’t know if this will help that part of it. Honestly, I think this is just another way to have every little thing we do online and frankly, I’m getting tired of it all. We shouldn’t have to always do everything in our lives online…there was a time when it didn’t exist and we were fine. I just think it’s about tracking what we are doing and that’s something that nobody in the general public thinks about.

  40. Tracy Knowles on June 16, 2022 at 1:21 am

Why raise prices ?? Doesn’t our tax money cover that ? Or is the money going to pay worthless politicians to take money from where it should go to other things ???

  41. Garret Lewis on June 16, 2022 at 1:22 am

Shenandoah National Park increased all of the camping fees. I bet you still have to pay for a shower.

  42. DAVE WICKMAN on June 16, 2022 at 1:22 am

    How about some good news

  43. Rick Timmons on June 16, 2022 at 1:23 am

You have now added another reason for me to never go to any of those places. As i have gotten to age 68 have begun to be aware that government should not charge for tax supported camping grounds. Biden wants to give illegals $450,000 each – where does he think that money comes from?

  44. RickFL2001 on June 16, 2022 at 1:23 am

We don’t have these rules in Free Florida

  45. Keith Baxter on June 16, 2022 at 1:24 am

  47. John Campbell on June 16, 2022 at 1:25 am

3/9/22…Masks are a complete joke, and have ALWAYS been a form of government control…NOW?All mask mandates magically went away all across this realm…y’all feel stupid yet?
