Great job guys, 2 questions: Are the batteries lithium ion? Would the bikes fit in the garage?

Really first class video, well done. You have explained for me a lot of detail on these Burstners that I didn’t understand. Thanks !!! We are set to be buying one next week, all going well.

This pandemic mess and the choice of RV campgrounds to close down has made me rethink FT RVing. I just bought a home in Florida for my winters. I’ll be selling my 2016 Bounder (with lithium and solar) and starting a search for a B+ with a drop down bed or Murphy bed. I’ll be PT and exploring the US when I am not in Florida. Sure wish the quality was similar here in North America as you just displayed in NZ.
    Stay safe and healthy!

Great review guys! Too bad these are not available in the States. It’s the little details like the skylights and double shower drain that make these special.

Ive always wanted to own one of these.

  22. Scott Gitlin on November 8, 2022 at 8:27 am

A thoughtful design . . . functional throughout with restrained elegance. RV design in the states sometimes resembles hotel casinos . . . garish. Wondering about that grey tank pipe – seemed vulnerable below the chassis. Also, did not see any special area to safely secure/hide dark chocolate almonds . . . or does New Zealand offer something better?

Glad to see you again. And driving on the correct side of the road lol. Am biased being in the UK

  25. John Landry on November 8, 2022 at 8:30 am

One thing that caught my attention was storage of wine glasses and mugs. The shelf seemed to sag under the weight of upright stemware. Am I wrong? This looked like the only thing that needs improvement on an otherwise awesome RV. Glad you made it back safe.

  26. CruisingTheCut on November 8, 2022 at 8:31 am

  28. ndiandy on November 8, 2022 at 8:32 am

I apologize if you have already been asked, but, what was the rental rate? Per day, week, month? Great video! Thanks!

  29. Julien Chiang on November 8, 2022 at 8:32 am

We got the Alpine 4 too last year for 2 weeks via a free upgrade as the Alpine 2 (Wilderness had changed their names btw) we booked was crashed by the previous customer. It was our first motorhome/rv holiday and it was so luxurious and easy to drive. I doubt we will have the same level of enjoyment if we were to rent from somewhere else besides Wilderness. We loved that trip so much we booked again with Wilderness, this time the Cruise 2, for 3 weeks this coming October. Looking at the current situation though, we are deeply disappointed that the trip will probably not happen for awhile. ๐Ÿ™ Love the way you guys did the presentation video! We tried something similar but being inexperienced, all the little bits of video ended up a disaster. Thank you for refreshing our memories! Wilderness should endorse this as one their official walk-through videos! Stay safe too and will be looking forward to your other videos, new subscriber here!

  30. Enad Evanz on November 8, 2022 at 8:33 am

Excellent walkthrough, its versatile and innovative design. Does it have an awning at the main door side?

  31. Barbara Carlson on November 8, 2022 at 8:39 am

Our Winnebago Navion has the same shades up front and in the coach with one exception our latches don’t have the locking button which would be great. The Navion is our third RV and we especially love the cab shades. We love the tilt up windows too for the reasons you mentioned. Love the floor storage in the floor!

  32. Rolling Ragu on November 8, 2022 at 8:42 am

What do you suspect are the primary reasons we don’t see some of these innovations in the states? It’s frustrating! Is it that the American consumer doesn’t expect more? Many, many thoughtful design features. Almost like the designers were users! ๐Ÿ™‚

  33. Linda Chong on November 8, 2022 at 8:43 am

could I ask what is the length of the RV that you’ve rented? you are spot on regarding American RV manufacturers.

  34. scott810 on November 8, 2022 at 8:44 am

Interesting it does not have a rooftop A/C unit. Guess you would not need it too much with that many skylights and windows.

  35. Sir Lance on November 8, 2022 at 8:47 am

Is there any way to purchase one of these to use in the states? And is there anything being sold in the US that is close to this? Such a great video!!

  36. Gypsy Belle on November 8, 2022 at 8:47 am

What an incredible design! I really Hope American manufacturers are taking serious notes. The monitoring panels seem like they would be an easy upgrade to bring across the pond. Thank you for the tour! So many great ideas!

  37. Larry Farquhar on November 8, 2022 at 8:48 am

    What length is this model?

  38. Public Manch on November 8, 2022 at 8:49 am

Very nice tour. How much it costs to own such a motor home. I am from INDIA and I wish to import one such kind of motor home.

  41. jiminnari on November 8, 2022 at 8:54 am

Damn, American RV manufacturers, some awesome features I would pay extra for, open your eyes and innovate like the overseas manufacturers.

    Great tour guys!

    Fluent, informative commentary. Much appreciated.

  43. Roger Brekas on November 8, 2022 at 8:55 am

Your tech videos are always the best. I really enjoy viewing all the different features available on these European RVs.

  44. UsernameNotDefined on November 8, 2022 at 8:56 am

The motorized bed seems faster than the previous rigs you’ve been on.

  45. Philip Wilkinson on November 8, 2022 at 8:59 am

Awesome review guys! I am sitting here in Auckland planning a couple of years in Europe and the US travelling by camper… one of my concerns was buying in europe then selling then buying again in the US but it sounds like I should just take my European RV to the US and sell there when I have finished with it? Any issue using the cassette toilet in the US? I guess the only other issue might be power conversion?

  47. Former Aide on November 8, 2022 at 9:03 am

A question on propane. My class C has a factory quick connect for a grill on it. Of course it is after the regulator. I know that you can buy a connection that goes between your onboard tank and regulator to hook up a portable tank if your onboard tank goes empty. My question is could you use the grill quick connect with a portable tank if your onboard tank goes empty? I know I would need a regulator on it, but would it mess my onboard regulator up having more pressure on the output side of it than on the intake side?

  48. Joan McErlean on November 8, 2022 at 9:03 am

I love the glossy white back plate and numerous chrome buttons for inside switches and monitoring gauges. So much nicer than all the black plastic face plates that are ubiquitous in North America. Airstream, Pleasure Way and LTV etc. put all this $ and effort into creating beautiful interiors and then assault your eyes with all the black plastic boxes. Cโ€™mon! Manufacturers, tell Dometic, Truma etc that you donโ€™t want black plastic anymore.
