What is Beer in Beautiful Places?
Hi, I’m Maddie! Celebrating an outdoor adventure with a beer has been a long-time tradition for me, and I wanted to create a platform for like-minded folks to come together. In my videos, I cover all types of adventures and review beer! Topics include day hiking, kayaking, travel, thru-hiking, and life on the road. In short, if you would describe yourself as an outdoorist, outdoorsman, outdoorswoman, hiker trash, nomad, or dirtbag, come on along, this is the channel for you! Welcome and cheers!

Great Job and I have to say it not easy but you have managed it so beautifully and shown how to organize the travel…

Very informative. I’m trying to get my nerve to start out. I purchased the exact van as you over Carvana not knowing about the HUGE second seat hardware in the floor.
Your video on how you tore that out is exactly what I need.
And I’m a stuff’s person with lots of clothes. So I need all the reality checks I need.

Should I RIP out all that floor hardware and the back seats. Or try a no build for awhile and travel?
I’m paying a fortune out living on a hotel. Gotta get apartment or go into van????

It was a good video to show the real deal! When I car camp out of my SUV for a weekend, it is hard enough to keep everything organized for that shirt period of time. Doing so everyday seems to be impossible. I’m sure you’ve accepted that already. I’d Love to hear what your thoughts are about van life so far. Are you still enjoying it as much as you did in the beginning? Are there things you miss? Thanks again for sharing your current life! I hope you are able to enjoy it to the fullest. 🙂

Get a seatcover for your driver’s seat … much more comfy.

Thank for showing us the real "van" life

I can tell you are new at this, because you have way too much stuff. 1st, never store propane inside the van. 2nd, get yourself a 5lbs propane tank and save yourself some money. It gets old real quick when I need to move a bunch of stuff around to get something.

You sure have a lot of crap!!! Quite organized in the clothing department. I have 3 net bags, shorts, tee shirts and one with socks and my pair of underwear. All stuffed, no folding.

Hi Maddie. I’ve just found your channel and I’m binge watching your videos on a lazy Saturday afternoon here in North West England. I’m loving them! You are so lucky being able to do the whole of America in your car. We would give our right arms to be able to do that 😂😂😂 Keep doing what you’re doing and safe and happy travels. 😊

Letting you know what I think: – I enjoyed the video very much! I may even watch it again! Your "home" is a mix of mostly organized cuteness. Everything you’re doing seems logical to me. I don’t think, however, if I were doing the van life thing, that I could have as much on my passenger side seat. You seemed to strike a pretty good balance in having the right amount of "stuff." It seems like it might take about an hour a day to keep things tidy? Also, those red rugs you’re giving away – I’d use them as floor mats in the front on the floor so that they’d be still around if I found a different use for them in the future. I’d also keep the lid to the plastic bin. I can see multi uses for it. Subscribed! 🙂

Oh that was a shock from the first run thru to now it actually made me go OHOHOH!, You had your stove on the ground so I was going to share get a table but then you showed the one in the front seat. I am working on where my kitty box will be and my kitty. Dogs are much easier to travel with. But she is a great watch cat. She jerks whenever she hears something.

  25. Larry Hunter on November 9, 2022 at 8:44 am

Great video Maddie! I prefer “real life” videos over “Instagram” videos any day. It was a great way to see how you have organized everything. Have a great week!

  26. Kimbopolo on November 9, 2022 at 8:44 am

Another great video – entertaining and informative! Best van organization video I’ve seen yet.

Rock and roll in da van

  28. C L on November 9, 2022 at 8:50 am

Maybe I didnt see this and you did cover it: Fire extinguisher, co2 detector, triple A premier card, d-cell mag light (good for thumping noggins), jumper cables, and alloy tire chains for drive wheels (theyre handier than folks think) . Oh, and wheres the Yuengling or Straub lager? 🤔😀

Save that bubble wrap! Make a paper template to copy the shape of the window. Spritz the glass with water or windex. Wrap will stick to glass and keep cold out. Removes easily.

  34. OhioGirl419_Lynnette on November 9, 2022 at 8:58 am

Only thing I’d change is getting curtains/window coverings that are fixed for the back as those window shades would drive me bananas out all the time. Otherwise, it’s about the same as we clean our S&B houses but on a smaller scale 🚐🚐🚐
