For the gardenia, you can just scrape the lower part of the branches with your fingernail and if it’s green it’s still alive. It really works!

I have been vegetable obsessed too! I wish I cared more about my "landscaping"…but I just can’t find the room in my brain!

Dexter has not taken his eyes off the screen between dog sightings. When they’re on he goes nuts running n barking. Then calms down n just watching hehehe.

I love all your live oaks! And the magnolia grandiflora! I miss those. I’m getting a sweet bay magnolia this year I hope. Might fill my southern magnolia nostalgia.

Love your yard and all your landscaping. Thanks for showing us around. 🥰

We got 8.5 feet of water in our house in Beaumont during Harvey. Decided to move to higher ground north of Beaumont. Makes a long drive to work but at least we can sleep at night when it rains. We have about 13 acres.

Yay a tour! Just sat down on the couch looking for something to watch whoohooo. Dexter is excited.
