I’ll be moving into a studio that was once a hotel. I’m thinking how am I going to get anything to fit and did a YouTube search and BOOM. This magically showed up. I hope you do more videos for small places. Thank u.

Love that you did this for him. While he may not have it picture ready everyday, its convertible so he can live dorm style then put the bed away if he’s expecting company.

Every thing looks amazing! From a functuonal point of view, the "eating" area isn’t as functional because there is no proper leg room. A breakfast table for two would work better, so he has room for his legs beneath the table and can pull his seat up closer and not have to lean forward so much. That being said, he’ll be better off sitting on the couch eating his meals, so it works out anyway.

Much to like here…… the color components, using the trunk for a coffee table and for storage, etc. However….. this place is not designed to be comfortable or practical and one *can* design a small space to be both. The ‘tub’ table and stools *look* great but here’s no space whatsoever on which to place a pizza box or cartons of Chinese food or even two regular size plates with silverware and a glass for beverages. Can’t place your feet/legs under the table and there’s no back rest on the seating for the end of a long day. A round pedestal table with tuck under chairs would’ve taken the same amount of space and provided more surface area/comfort. And why have forty pillows? How can one sit on the couch comfortably without taking the time to remove them all? The art is hung too high over the fold out couch and there are, frankly, too many decorative objects that serve no purpose and just make the place look ‘busy’. The eye has no place to ‘rest’ in that room. The screens are an interesting idea ( I like them!) to break up the monotony of the walls, but I would’ve used bookcases (instead) with some coordinating baskets or bins, to provide more storage. All that said, this kind of thing is probably what I would have done when I was younger and prioritizing visuals over everything else. I think you got the scale, the textures, the color scheme, and the configuration of the room exactly right. I would have placed a bit more emphasis on comfort and practicality. All in all, though…… good job.

I wanted something small with cheap rent. Please come to Colorado and help me out…yoh are amazing, with a nice voice.

The only thing I would change is have storage in the side table / night stand. This is great!
