What happened to all the other rugs and artwork that got pulled out of the main floor? Did the clients get all new furniture along with the remodel? Must be nice to have so much money that you can be out of your house for months, replace almost all your furniture, and pay for major structural work and upgrades – all during a pandemic!!
I always look so forward to your videos Sarah!! love all that you do!! your hair looks gorgeous by the way!
What I like most about you Sarah is that you don’t just say "TADAH, look at what I’ve done!" Instead, you take your viewers through a journey of your thought process from beginning to end. You teach us the why’s and how’s, which has been a tremendous help in decorating and designing my own brand new home. Thank you so much!
This den is beautiful. Sarah, can you tell us the name of the manufacturer of the sectional? Thanks!
Open bookshelves are a large dust collector. Don’t you think so?
😂😂love your hubby!
Where did you get those beautiful hardware on the bookcases?
Do you think “stuffs and carpets” might mean cushions and pillows?
Does anyone know where Sarah purchased the satin brass frosted textured glass hardware seen on the lower cabinets of the final room?
Sarah, your work is innovative. What you did years ago? People are doing now. I like your work and you teach…
Dear Sarah! I am always looking forward to your New breathtaking videos. It is a great pity, but on Russian tv, there used to show your old desing works. There for, I want to ask you a guestion: where is a member of your team and the Best friend of your family Tommy by name? It was a great pleasure to see both of you on tv screen!!! With love from Russia ❤️
Possibly one of the few that hate the typical Persian rug.
Could you please provide me with the source of the sectional sofa? Thank you.
Can totally relate to the "stuffs and carpets" plates becoming framed art & inspiring more. Two Christmases ago, Niece gave me kitchen towels that I think are gorgeous (think Matisse paintings and his cut-outs). Hubby & I were going to be moving & begin building home & I thought I will mount & hang the towels for new home. We’re FINALLY finished building (almost done cleaning!) & I’ll be heading to a shop to talk about mounting those towels. I recall your taking a "this-is-it" fabric & using a process to use as wallpaper, so to speak, in your first farmhouse’s dining room. That was a learning moment in many ways. Thanks for the lesson.
She loved color but she was living in cluttered chaos. She chose neutral, calm, uncluttered & clean because she was craving order. Trust me *she was* me. I’m currently living this feeling in my 30 year old home that’s desperately in need of a major declutter/reno & it’s suffocating.
"Stuff" was an old fashioned, English term for fabric, so the bookplates are probably rug and fabric designs.
I love how the books are displayed. It’s real and practical.
Love the hint of pastels here, so classic that doesn’t scream girly!,,
I think it’s lovely…..for girls. There is nothing in that room that looks like a guy lives in that home.
Love the den! thinking of doing something similar in my home office! Can you tell me where you got the rug?
Stunning!!!!
Everything looks gorgeous ! Love all your ideas glad I found your channel and have miss your decorating ❤️❤️❤️
Fabulous!!
Never been more excited…this is my dream home can’t wait to see Sarah do her magic!
I’m not so fond of those tables in the library. Also I think The chairs could’ve been upholstered with a more interesting fabric. The rest of the room is awesome, especially the custom shelving. I Love the sitting room’s color scheme. I’m going to try covering a small side table with grasscloth. Great idea.
It’s called a "boudoir" in French, a small space for small intimate discussion and usually located close or next to the bedroom . A boudoir is not a cabinet of toilets it’s a petit salon
Love the cabinet knobs on the bookcases in the office. I’m refurbishing a dressing table and would love to use them. Please tell me where to get them, or even what brand they are. Thanks.

Hi Sarah I watch all your shows in reruns now on DABL I’m so impressed with your artistry & designs you put out. As for this bookcase this really helps me for a future design as I’m a collector of many hobby models, stereo components & lots of books, records, CDS, DVDS,AUDIO, TAPES, VIDEO TAPES As I type this I’m currently living in a very small studio apartment in New York City & it won’t work. As for colors one color throughout the room all flat white! Including the bathroom it’s a semi gloss(?) white as well. It needs more ingredients oh I forgot to mention the kitchen cabinets too, I could live with that they’re easy to clean. I’m going to keep watching as I did in 2020, I’m looking forward to watching all your series I like the comedy as well 😄. And I thank you .
Love these spaces! They look like such calm and peaceful places to be.
Absolutely beautiful! 🤗💕
Very very feminine den.
Have always loved your style….great you’re on YouTube now.
Your designs are amazing! These two spaces are incredible. I do wonder about the budget, everything is high end and beautiful. How would one calculate what they would need to update like this?
I love the calm neutral colors of this house !! Love ❤️ the room off the bedroom with the prints and a touch of coral. Love ❤️ it colors and prints Awesome 👍👍👍
This video makes my wallet very angry. I’m pretty sure I want the couch, the rug, the pillows, the coffee table…
I think this house along with many that you had did an overhaul on Sarah , are very beautiful, but they all kind of look like the same design , overall they seem like the same look. maybe different house ,but they don’t stand out from the others….I feel like many of the designs are a through back look of the seventies , and not one of the better designs made in my view.
Where is the next video that she mentions for the “fun spaces”?
Love everything,❤️❤️
Love all the rugs but Hampton is my favorite!
The den is beautiful! I didn’t know Sarah Richardson could design a room that wasn’t blue, white or grey, but I always hoped she would!!
I love the feeling of the pale pink room. Great rug!
Love, love this house. Magnificent job! There’s not a thing I don’t love.
The dining room rug shines now in its new location. I hardly noticed it in the old dark dining room. Sarah, your designs make me happy. You are as talented as you are beautiful!
I absolutely love what you do and how you work. 😊 the camera guy’s pretty fun too 😆✈️
Love colors of the den and love how you used the throughway between staircases as a den Sarah and I absolutely love the wallpaper in the home office!
Corbels are fantastic! My family has a massive 1880’s carved Viking head corbel (we call him Olaf) which hung in the stairwell of our beach cabin for decades. When my folks bought to a new contemporary home in the high desert, with a large empty stairwell, Olaf made the move. We always have our eye open for architectural salvage. Love your use of old with new!
is there a link to where you got the rug in the first room (compouter generated feminine samon/creme)?
Yes, do include fashion you wear in details plz
