  9. Kat C. on April 13, 2022 at 6:07 pm

Oh! He really should frame the shirt! That actually would look cool, but it could also be on one of the other walls. Also, then he’d have to wear another shirt.

What a great enhancement to this office! I understand not wanting to build in the crown pieces, but if you wanted to do a renter-friendly version, you could build boxes to sit on top of the bookshelves, wrap the top in crown, then use command velcro strips to attach crown to the wall above the low cabinets!

Can’t wait for Part 2! Looks amazing!

I think the space needs more modern and sleek decor. Less boho and more masculine touches for Brian’s office.

I have an "office" room that I didnt know how to organize because of its size and shape, but GIRL, placing the desk in the middle with storage on the back is game changer! You get to use all the space. LOVE it!!

  36. Lisa Liebich on April 13, 2022 at 6:37 pm

That is beautiful! I love the pole wrap used as a wall treatment. It contrasts beautifully with the black Billy’s. This is my favorite of all your DIYs so far. Well done! I can hardly wait to see the completed room.

  39. rcoop309 on April 13, 2022 at 6:39 pm

I love it. My favorite part was the wall covering. It makes me want to turn my craft room into a sleek office space. Thanks for sharing!

  42. A W on April 13, 2022 at 6:43 pm

Yes! LOVE IT. I love that you’re including your husband in the process and truly listening to his design preferences! Designing for a style that’s slightly different than your own will force you to push your creative boundaries!! Also, it’ll expand your audience, attracting new followers.

  43. 1stepcl0ser on April 13, 2022 at 6:46 pm

i think i would have chosen the first one, too. although both designs are nice. what does brian do, if it is ok to ask? 🙂

  44. T Harbin on April 13, 2022 at 6:47 pm

I don’t know about pests in your area, but in Montreal, I needed to fill in gaps like yours between the floorboards and wall with steel wool to stop mice from being able to move around with ease. You might consider that or pest deterrent foam spray filler before you secure everything together. Love your work!

  45. Kat C. on April 13, 2022 at 6:47 pm

Lol, "nooo". He doesn’t like it. Jk 😂

  46. rneustel on April 13, 2022 at 6:47 pm

Wow! That looks so good. It had to be meant to be because of the sizing.

  47. Cheryl Love on April 13, 2022 at 6:48 pm

I love this! Now, time to find some pole wrap.

  48. nnorso on April 13, 2022 at 6:51 pm

Thank you for this! I’ve been thinking of making a feature wall with pole wrap myself but haven’t seen good examples of people using it on walls before. Also where I live the HD doesn’t carry the product in store and I’d have to buy online without seeing it in person but I think your video just gave me the confidence to go for it. Looks great!

Question for folks who turn their books around on bookshelves….do y’all not read? Are y’all buying books just for aesthetic? Why not buy something else?
