Today we’re starting our office makeover with a feature wall of bookshelves! Using pole wrap, we’re creating a fluted wood slat wall and we’ll be installing faux built-ins with the popular IKEA Billy Bookcase that fit PERFECTLY along the back wall of the office. I am excited to finally have a space for Brian to get creative, edit, and work. How do you think it turned out? Let me know in the comments!

I love this! Tina where is the Los Angeles print from?
It looks amaziing💕
Wow!
Amazing results.
Good job.
Girl ! You should have just cut the bookcase back haha !
Beautiful!!! The use of the pole wrap is brilliant! Love it!
Such a great makeover. You did phenomenal. I always love the slatted wall stuff. It is expensive though!
Oh! He really should frame the shirt! That actually would look cool, but it could also be on one of the other walls. Also, then he’d have to wear another shirt.
What a great enhancement to this office! I understand not wanting to build in the crown pieces, but if you wanted to do a renter-friendly version, you could build boxes to sit on top of the bookshelves, wrap the top in crown, then use command velcro strips to attach crown to the wall above the low cabinets!
Can’t wait for Part 2! Looks amazing!
So fun. Love the little LED light but not on that natural wood tone.
Looks so special, as always, Tina. I appreciate your creativity and vision for design. Love the final design 👌 couldn’t be better 👌
This is awesome. How did I not know you were in the Chicago area. I’m in the west burbs. You are my favorite. I wanna be you when I grow up even though I prolly can be your mother. Haha.
Wow what an amazing change the wall treatment did for the room, now just waiting to see it all decorated.🙏🏾💖💯💫
This looks amazing! Well done!
That’s absolutely beautiful! 👍🏾🧡👋🏾
Looks great!
No matter what Tina-Le you always make my jaw drop! This is awesome👏!
Looks amazing! Can’t wait see it finished.♡ ☑️♡
I love the idea of hanging his shirt somewhere. It’d be a great memory years from now.
🌟
Girl you outdo yourself every time. It looks great. Can’t wait to see the full makeover.
I think the space needs more modern and sleek decor. Less boho and more masculine touches for Brian’s office.
This looks soo good but omg! It’s his confidence in you for me ☺️❤️
Wow! It looks so good!
She’s done it again folks
You have such a wonderful husband, I just love his appreciation of you and your talents. To a mm, that furniture was meant to be. The pole wrap makes a stunning backdrop.
Framing the shirt is genius lol
GENUINELY SIK!!!👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I’ve been looking for pole wrap for months, the DIY community has definitely taken over because it’s almost impossible to find!!
You and Brian are so cute!!
Fantastic job! Very creative and unique. I think I’ll be stealing the pole wrap idea! Genius, pure genius! Thank you for sharing.
I LOVE that wall ❤️❤️❤️. I can’t wait to see the rest! PLEASE share where you got your green fuzzy coat, I absolutely love it!
I have an "office" room that I didnt know how to organize because of its size and shape, but GIRL, placing the desk in the middle with storage on the back is game changer! You get to use all the space. LOVE it!!
Love this idea!! You did a great job on this!
Looking great!
That is beautiful! I love the pole wrap used as a wall treatment. It contrasts beautifully with the black Billy’s. This is my favorite of all your DIYs so far. Well done! I can hardly wait to see the completed room.
I love it. My favorite part was the wall covering. It makes me want to turn my craft room into a sleek office space. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve been wanting to do builtins around my fire place with the Billy bookcases and they are IMPOSSIBLE to get right now!
watching you two just puts joy into my heart<3 thank you for sharing
Yes! LOVE IT. I love that you’re including your husband in the process and truly listening to his design preferences! Designing for a style that’s slightly different than your own will force you to push your creative boundaries!! Also, it’ll expand your audience, attracting new followers.
i think i would have chosen the first one, too. although both designs are nice. what does brian do, if it is ok to ask? 🙂
I don’t know about pests in your area, but in Montreal, I needed to fill in gaps like yours between the floorboards and wall with steel wool to stop mice from being able to move around with ease. You might consider that or pest deterrent foam spray filler before you secure everything together. Love your work!
Lol, "nooo". He doesn’t like it. Jk 😂
Wow! That looks so good. It had to be meant to be because of the sizing.
I love this! Now, time to find some pole wrap.
Thank you for this! I’ve been thinking of making a feature wall with pole wrap myself but haven’t seen good examples of people using it on walls before. Also where I live the HD doesn’t carry the product in store and I’d have to buy online without seeing it in person but I think your video just gave me the confidence to go for it. Looks great!
Question for folks who turn their books around on bookshelves….do y’all not read? Are y’all buying books just for aesthetic? Why not buy something else?
Girl keep bringing these DIYs your closet made Brightwood system inspired me to do mine check mine out ‘ cause you were the muse!!
