Hi! I love your videos!! They’re all so amazing, fun to watch and try! I just completed today, your mason jars and coordinating salt/pepper shakers. OMG they’re adorable in my kitchen! FYI on spray sealant suggestion. Yes! I highly recommend it (I used Rust-Oleum clear matte). If you put the jar under water with no sealant, the Waverly chalk paint comes right off. I actually painted an entire jar last night, 2 coats, and this morning realized I didn’t like the color. No problem, put the jar under water then over the trash can I wiped the paint clean off. So once you have the jars how you want, color and scuffed up, apply a sealant. I also mod podged the S and P before gluing them to shakers so if I wipe them off, hopefully the color won’t get messed up.

Just and idea 💡. How about glue the ribbons and letters in place and at the ends put a little piece of velcro so you can remove it to wash and put back.

I already have the painted jars that hold my utensils, and I also have a collection of rolling pins that belonged to my Mom, hidden away in a drawer not being used.I know she wouldn’t mind if I painted one, so that will be next! So cute!

I had that same rolling pin years ago but got rid of it because it wasn’t wide enough for my hands not to get in my dough, I bought just a long same size rolling pin like DT sells now!! I so could of made your decorative rolling pin!! Bummer!! 😂🤗❤

i like these jars!!! I use the wood utinsils whenever I can Especially when im boiling something becauses if you lay a wooden spoon across the top of the pan resting on the lip horazontal it keeps stuff from boiling over

  42. Denise Pope on May 23, 2020 at 1:20 am

Question??: Since this chalk paint can come of with water, shouldn’t a clear coat be put over it with anything used in the kitchen? Do to the risk of eating it?
