Is this a rental? If you own this place, I would invest in elevating those cabinets a little higher. They make your walls seem shorter than they actually are. Make the best of those high ceilings!!

I just wanted to check if the pearl finish is good enough when it comes to cleaning or shall I go for gloss finish in the same shade since I have kids and will need to clean it more often. The black cabinets look so nice! In hindsight if I just repainted my old cabinets black that would of been fine! Much cheaper and smart option than doing reno! Your right it’s not worth the price to Reno!

This is beautiful and you did a great job. I had planned to do what I am calling my New York modern black kitchen and then I had a flood and have to replace my kitchen cabinets and the insurance company won’t pay for the front of my cabinet doors. I can’t find any company to job make boxes without any doors even unfinished cabinets come with doors.

I’m remodeling my whole house. Ugh. Lol but my kitchen is gonna be a black and gray but I’m wandering if you used 2 different blacks cus it looks like the trim around your cabinets is a deeper black. But I absolutely love it and it’s gorgeous. Did a beautiful job

Looks stunning. You forgot the million dollar question though. How does the black hold up when it comes to finger prints and actual grease from cooking?
You are going to regret that contact paper after a year or so. It doesn’t stick well.

this is beautiful!! I noticed that you didn’t use sealer after painting. How have they held up after 1 year? I’m thinking to repaint my cabinet doors soon ^_^

Lovely I love your kitchen! I’ve just retired decades early lol… so I’m going to do this starting this weekend Feb 4th. I have a nice back splash but the cabinets are next level.❣ I have really good cabinets the same color as yours all wood and I don’t want to pay for new ones in this life this is sooo modern🫶 I think I’m going to get some cool black hardware though as I love rushing things. lol! Wish me well.. It’s probably going to take me a month because I have many utube videos to watch along with making my green juices!
