Absolutely gorgeous. Have you ever redesigned a lamp base? Base white, 26 inches and shades makes it 49". The base at the bottom is black. I would like to create a modern style to the lamp and shade, any suggestions? Colors black, gold and white from .the base

You just tackle this stuff and figure it out. Too amazing.
This is an amazing and ambitious project. The cardboard texture did seem to be a little hiccup, showing through as it did. But it still worked, though I suppose it could easily be elevated by making some minor changes? Perhaps costing a little more, but also elevating the look by a lot. I did wonder if you’d be willing to try this again, but instead of painting the individual slats of cardboard, perhaps covering them with gold mirror contact paper? And Using a glass top or covering the top with gold mirror contact paper? I suspect that may make all the difference. Perhaps you could even take this one and just cover it with the gold contact paper?
