Driving To The Arctic In The Winter – FULL DOCUMENTARY – Living The Van Life

Living The Van Life **SWAG** – CLICK HERE – https://www.livingthevanlife.com

In February of 2022, in search of the ultimate discomfort in van life, I decided to challenge myself with driving my 2022 Mercedes Sprinter 4×4 all the way to the frozen Arctic Ocean in the middle of winter. I originally released a series of 3 videos documenting my travels. This is the FULL DOCUMENTARY film of my travels to see if it is ACTUALLY possible to live in my van in these extreme winter conditions. Now this is not simply driving my van from one comfortable warm hotel to the next… This is LIVING in my van during my trek to the Arctic. Is it possible to survive the extreme winter temperatures of the frozen arctic tundra?

Dude, you’re awesome! This is literally the Van life version of Ice Road Truckers! The Discovery channel should strike up a broadcast distribution deal with you!

This was breathtaking, truly. What an experience! Also this is incredibly random, but you kind of look like Norman Reedus to me.

Thank you, thank you. This was amazing. You did it right. I was fortunate to be able to travel north camping across Canada and Alaska but in summer! Now I am an eighty year old great grandmother with my wonderful memories and you were able to bring them to me again! All I can say is you are quite the man. And thank you again.

Do you have the S&B 47 gallon fuel tank for your Sprinter? Or did you carry extra diesel somehow?

Had to stop watching 20 mins in because the amount of ads was just ridiculous. Literally every 2 minutes with 2x 20 second ads!! I know that’s how they generate money if not subscribed but surely that many is wrong! Anyone else found this with YouTube at the moment? Shame because video is excellent and I would of enjoyed watching the whole thing but ads just killed it for me

1 useful tip…if going into another country, exchange at the bank. Banks give you current a better deal. Learned while in Germany 33 yrs ago

That great, but the cost of a Mercedes 4×4 Van 🚐 I can’t afford. Does someone else do the overhead flying in air filming… you should narrate that in on how that’s happening. There’s a I could ask, I took off my 83 Honda hatchback and slept in the frt seat, then drive to the mountains back in 1995…96…7 I’d love to travel like that again before I run out time.

  46. Love to watcH on November 17, 2022 at 9:21 am

It feel me like i am travelling with you & thinking that this video will never end so many things to say but its far better than the rubbish web series & movies every minute worth to watch

Wow you are awesome and brave next time take me with you what wonderful scenery is so pretty and so cold but you did it

  49. lee lockard on November 17, 2022 at 9:24 am

I dont know that I could handle temps that cold. I’m in Northern Maryland and the coldest I’ve seen it was -20 f. Living in a r.v. temps like that can be a challenge. It is normal for winter temps arround here to get zero especially with the wind chill. And even that is to cold for me especially now that I’m past my 30s. Merino wool is becoming my wardrobe. Much love ❤️ 🙏also I agree with others your work is better than the history Channel. Absolutely top notch video skills
