Wearing counterfeit goods is not something to be proud of, the majority of Malaysians avoid Petaling Street. We know these vendors are not Malaysians, after all, they have no interest in selling to locals too who will haggle until they are unable to make profit. If you don’t know how to barter, it is advised not to purchase those bogus things because they are all negotiable goods.
These markets are always the best spots to visit wether in Malaysia or Thailand or any Asian country.. Great content 💚

If you’re looking for knock-off goods stuff like bags jerseys and watches for example comes in different grades depending on quality and material. Petaling street normally caters for the lower end ones for tourists. The good ones (triple A) normally cost more because they use the same material as the original article like the jerseys hanging in the plastic covers. Good fake bags and watches are normally in Malls like Bukit Bintang some even comes with automatic movement but you have to know the original article and good eye for quality. Not everyone likes to be filmed by strangers for their own reasons it’s polite to ask first. Have a nice trip in Malaysia
Some people just dont wanna be captured maybe:
1) they are trying to scam you with illogical price and afraid viewers(malaysian) will tell you and that will makes people stop coming to their stores
2) they shy for not able to speak english well
3) afraid of selling some fake product tht might be against law
4) Just never involved in socmed so they dont understand this situation and just feel tht this is weird
5) some workers are illegal and dont wannna be exposed
6) Totally not a sporting one😅

I wouldn’t be too confident on the perfumes, maybe the display ones are close to real or real but the packed box he gave you is just water.
As long as your selling this stuff with the customers knowing they are fake and cheap then I don’t see a issue. When you buy the real thing your not just paying more for the name on the side. Your paying for the quality. I’ve bought many fakes and they have all been junk. Especially the watches.
