    i once asked for fresh "daniya" garnish in a restaurant. they misheard me and gave me "onion" instead. the chef had put a load of chopped fresh onion on my curry. was actually really delicious and enhanced the dish nicely. the waiter and i had a laugh about it when i told him i meant "daniya" and not "onion"! my indian accent wasn’t up to par…
