HGTV Redesigner Kim Smart takes on an L Shaped Living Room

HGTV Redesigner Kim Smart takes on an L Shaped Living Room

http://www.smartinteriors.net
The couple was only utilizing one section of the L shaped living room. With the new redesign I created a TV area and cozy sitting space — taking full advantage of the entire living room.

Behind the scenes scoop…We are on the top floor of an old apartment building with no air-conditioning. It’s over 95 degrees and with the added production lighting it was a hot, humid 12 hour shoot.

An interior redesign is where I take your existing furnishings and give you a fresh new look with what you already own. The transformations are amazing!

I remember Joan from Room by Room on HGTV. Loved that show!

This looks great but, isn’t it a cleaning nightmare getting in between, under & behind those angled pieces?

I miss shows like this! Shows now wants you to buy something or tear down something. Shows like this helped to remind us to be inspired by what we have! Not everyone can afford a total gut job

This apartment or house or whatever it is, is truly a labyrinthine nightmare.

Narrow halls and a tiny kitchen.

These people needed smaller furniture and an open floor plan.
