A $150 for that piece of artwork is too much money In the good wills That I shop at that piece of art would go for 20 bucks…. You should See the beautiful art I have in my house….
I love that vase & the bowl did have a yellow color to it.
kirstna please this shop adderse thank you i love this shop
Is it just me or are thrift stores charging way more since the crafters and influencers started?
I have an older version of those small thick glasses that I got from a packhouse flea market over 35 years ago! I use them all of the time for desserts (think banana pudding, jello with fruit & Cool Whip, and of course mini ice cream sundaes!
This was so fun to watch
i thrifted this chairs, whats your opinion
about a re- stain?
natural or dark wood stain????
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE♥ I hope you’re having some relaxing down town before the new year! I had the urge to get out thrifting & look for some special pieces for hosting for the holidays! Come along with me to all my favorite thrift stores!!
what city was the Restore in? I have never seen one with so much great stuff. Our local ones are filled with junk.
The glasses at 3:08 would make great dessert or fruit cups.
when she is starting this video she’s sitting still in the car. If I see her blogging while driving I’m clicking away immediately. I’m sick of crazy drivers on the road. Doing everything but driving.
Wow..where is this place? i’d love to go
Great video and beautiful finds. Some of the vintage or aged furniture spooks me or looks scary in the night. But that’s just me lol.
The mirror defently….
If you never get around to actually making pasta, those machines make very nice shredded paper for gift bags or Easter baskets. I love your style.
ALL I LOVE IS THRIFTING A LOT ITS LIKE MY HOBBY
I love thrifty shopping it’s fun to find things youve been wanting at a great reduced price! Thanks for sharing and thanks for new ideas 👍🏼👍🏼
The mirror is beautiful….hope you bought it 😊
I’ve been thrifting books a lot lately, I never thought to look at used books but I found a thrift shop that sells all their books for 25 cents😍
Yes to the mirror with the squares!
Iloveit dear….thnkZ god blesss u alwys..
Nice big Pasta Bowl put it in the middle and let everybody go for it
Its a Beautiful mirror. ITS UNIQUE. A bit expensive I would say
@3"00 the are not wine glasses but are stemmed pudding, jello, ice cream, cups
I could spend hours shopping in stores like this !
Love the mirror it’s gorgeous I don’t really mind the grid in the mirror itself makes it kinda unique💜
So fun. It’s a bit odd/sad to me that you’re buying books for their colour though.
You may want to consider looking for a chimney cabinet for your hallway. They are great for small spaces.
How did you miss the Silver gray grate could’ve been used for wall art. I snatched it up in my head. Lol. Thanks
At our house, books are little treasures, Yes, I use them for height by placing them under something. But, as a librarian, I only buy books that I have read or want to read. When people turn their spines around to see just paper, I go nuts. How do you find your treasure? I LOVE BOOKS more than anything. We hav books in every room. My mother just did not get it. She would purchase me a random book and expect me to read it? Umm?
Those wardrobes are deep because they’re not wardrobes – they’re TV cabinets we’ve all donated over the last 15 years :-).
Once upon a time I had the most beautiful punch bowl with 12 glass cups. Very expensive. The bowlhad the hooks yo hang thw cupa. I lwnd it to a friend. She broke my bowl with a long crack and a few of the cups. She brought it back in the box and never mention a word to me. I happened to not use it for a while however when i did go to use it. Thats when i realize she had broken my crystal very expensive punch bown anda few of the cups.
Loved watching your thrifting adventure & I have to thank you for your giving me the idea of how to use my vintage sewing box. I have one very similar to what you had seen at the Restore & wasn’t sure where I would put it, but it’s definitely going into my mini mudroom to hold hats & gloves, etc. Thanks!!
The glasses you picked up are dessert glasses
Um, those are dessert glasses, not wine glasses.
Great tip on the books , grab the mirror, definitely looking for a habitat for humanity shop. I found a 1950’s coffee table value $1,500.00 and a Romeo Tamanti coffee table value $40,000.00 for $75.00 each at Salvation army.
I had a punch bowl for years and never used it once even thought I entertained all the time so I finally gave it away to Value Village. FYI….wait for the mirror to go half off and then grab it
Omg that sitting table and mirror is gorgeous
I think if you turn a bowl upside down in the middle of the Punchbowl it would be beautiful with some fresh fruit. If you don’t use an internal goal you just need lots and lots of fruit! I love the idea of a clear fruit bowl. I started doing all my kitchen canisters and such in clear glass. Seem to look sleeker and goes with any decor
I believe with Habitat for Humanity you can make a lower offer. I know I was able to do that before. Can’t hurt to ask. I think that mirror would look beautiful on a mantle. I’m watching this 3 weeks out so hopefully you got it.
Very beautiful punch bowl. A punch bowl is a very useful item.
The prices in your habitat for humanity was disgusting over prices, charity or not .
That’s not the date on the bottom of the vase. It’s a signed and numbered piece. It’s #5 of 76. Not May, 1976.
Love this beautiful video, thank you. But in Ohio our restore is not like this
Those stemmed glasses also make nice dessert glasses.
Hi. I just saw your vlog and loved it. What state are you located in? It appears your Habitat For Humanity is much larger than the ones near me in the Northeast and the furniture selection in the one you visited is awesome. I would not wait on the gold mirror. In my area a mirror like that would go for much more and have been gone by now. If you like it get it. Just saying! I own only period piece antique furniture and I love the unique designs. Each piece is insured separately. I hope I receive more of your vlogs on YouTube. I did subscribe. Happy New Year!
It is SO GOOD to see a (pretty) young person without (heavy) black eye makeup!
damn where is this? the restore alone is worth a roadtrip 🙂
Where are you located?
You can use your punch bowl for other uses – chips, fruit or put ice in it and chill Champagne/ wine.
