love u sm it says picasso lol
You’re definitely a Disney adult haha embrace it
I have a little bunny dish that is just like your new little swan dish! It is great for putting little candies in it, like jelly beans!
Where did you get your carpet? Like the black and white one?βΊοΈ I kinda love it π
omg I have the same short blue glass!
I’ve been wondering this forever and just never quite knew how to ask, but I guess my question is: what is your strategy for transporting all the decor items when you move, especially the fragile ones like crystal and lamps?
For context, I rent because I can’t afford to buy a home anywhere in the US. I move every year because every year my rent gets raised past what I can afford to pay. I never do any decorating or purchase any decor items because I feel like packing up and moving them all, on top of the furniture and allllllll the kitchen stuff and everything else that is essential that has to get packed up would just be way too arduous to do once a year. But I’m also getting to the point in life where I would like where I’m living to feel comfortable and homey and be a reflection of my style rather than screaming "temporary landing place before the next move, and the next one, and the next."
I doubt Carrie will see this, so if anyone else sees this and has suggestions/advice when it comes to decorating with annual moves in mind, I would be so grateful!
I’m late on this, but keep the top and layer a contrasting lace bralette underneath. It’s so pretty
I love that clock picture frame, too cute! Glad I found your channel today. π
Call me when selling that pulls slip!!!
Best wishes
That glass swan!!! We had one at my house when I was young! My mother kept candies in it. π
LOVE both your hair π§ββοΈ and the color coded shelf idea!! So fun!
omg where is your rug from?? sooo cute
Thank you for not buying all neutral items! So refreshing to see color and fun!
The cookie jar would be soooo cute with dog cookies in it!! π
Can we see the finish shelf?
Yassss. Ppl are sleeping on thrifted decor!!!
I definitely recommend Mesa thrift store on Main St. I feel like I go back in time there and I have found some great gems. I hope you see this!
Love this video! Would love to see a follow up with how you styled the items in your space!
Those heart bowls would be SOOO cute on a coffee table with like Hershey kisses inside
Or candy corns for Halloween
Any candy or easily accessible snacks that guests can have when they come over
Or when your on the couch! Those are so cute
I feel like it’s 1996, I’m in my aunt’s home, staring at her china cabinet and she just poured me a glass of water in that exact tinted blue cup. AND I’M HERE FOR IT.
Once you put it all up it you should film a redecorating vid!! π
Oh Carrie! I feel your frustration with the top, having a similar experience this weekend with a dress I wore to a wedding ughhh so annoying! But i have to say i cracked up with your captions!! (I don’t know if that was your intention haha) anyways loved the decore i would love to see it all in place β€β€
Strawberry container probably a jam pot.
What a cool idea, I look forward to seeing the finished project!
oh my gosh I could not agree more on the torn between the vintage, cottagecore, boho and the y2k, bright, funky vibes, i cant seem to pick one either
π₯Ί Carrie, this shirt is doing the most, trying not to be disrespectful but π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯° hot damn gurl
Also!! When you thrift those green-tinted glassware, you should see if they glow under UV light. If it does then you definitely got some vintage uranium glass (can wiki it for more details), but itβs pre 1920s old.
I have that same green etched little plate you showed near the beginning. It’s also known as Uranium glass and glows bright neon green under blacklight! Nice haul btw.
You should put some sort of pothos plant in the tiny blue cup. Succulents need good drainage, otherwise they get root rot. A succulent will likely die in that cup.
Loved this so much. Could you show us later how you styled these items in your house? Found my soulmate in decor. I’m also so torn between cottage core aesthetics and the trendy colours themeπ€¦π»ββοΈ. Thank you for this ππβ€οΈπ
I have the little strawberry container and it goes with an entire 70/80βs kitchen set that came out of my great grandmothers house when she passed. I absolutely use all of it as my everyday set π
Plant tour as a video idea? I am newly obsessed with plants and I love seeing other people’s plants and hearing how they take care of them
I cannot wait to see all those little colored glass pieces all set up! Itβs gonna be so stinking cute
I CANNOT with all these FINDS! I just wish the east coast had thrift shops like this! I rarely find gorgeous moments like these, but oh when you find the treasure itβs just so good
UMMM that purple slip dress looks INCREDIBLE on you..goddess !!!
You may want to research the blue-tinted glasses to see if it is leaded glass. If so, you won’t want to let kids drink out of them.
Youβre so talented. I love this channel. Subscribed!!! π π π π π
We are working on a red and black kitchen with white accents π
i have the same strawberry from a thrift store! i keep toothpicks in it. Love you BTW π
Itβs a beautiful top! Just shorten the straps if you donβt feel comfortable. π
I think thereβs a name for the decor style youβre going forβ¦ you donβt have to choose between 80βs/cottagecore/boho aestheticsβ¦ itβs called maximalism!! Embrace it Carrie π¦π
I love every.single.thing. π€π
Love this for you ππ
who else had their Alexa go off when Carrie said Alexa xD
Can we see the stuff in your kitchen I bet you have good taste
Picasso did a lot of line drawings! I love that
I thrifted that swan jewelry dish too!!
Hey Carrie!
Would you consider making a video of thrifters/mid size fashion channels that you watch/love
I watch your videos religiously but would love some other amazing creators to watch while I patiently wait for your next video! :p
Thank you for all you do β€οΈ
the comments about the top were KILLING meπ€£
