SO weird to me too that literately everyone needed to have wood beads, chains, and or pampas grass in their home. So glad people are starting to leave this trend behind!
Pls do an entire video on children’s room.
Just a bunch of pick-me girls in the comments
Still not mad at the arch. 😂
I love all your videos and always agree with you!!
THANK YOU!!!! Kids need colour for stimulating the brain and development and just in general
everything you say just makes sense. I love it.
I had carpet in my room, it was the only room in the house with carpet. I decided to rip it up bc there’s hardwood underneath, and we discovered that the previous owners had begun to paint the floor white and decided to just stop and carpet over it 😭 was so sad. The wood floors were gorgeous! We were able to strip the paint, but the floor is damaged. Such a waste
Lmbooo!! The Tom Ford books 🤣
Girl you hit the nail on the head with the shiny gold kitchen hardware. My old roommate left a gold floor lamp here and I was thinking about keeping it but it just looked kinda cheap to me and I could never figure out why. Now I realize I still want a gold lamp but more of a brassy gold. Thank you!
Show us how you’d decorate for a your wedding!!!!!!!!!! Please!!!
If u have the coffee table chain you’re probably a photographer CEO
loved this video but i also want your dog….
i’m so so over the whole neutral minimal interior trend. boring. give me personality, texture, colour, eclectic all the way! minimalism can be done right but it’s not as easy as people think. do it wrong and you end up living in a hospital room
U forgot the hobby lobby farmhouse vomit!
Happy New Year, Paige! Cheers to a fantastic 2022🥂
I’ll never understand why people would go all white and fancy in a kitchen anyway…like helloooo…news flash…the kitchen is the workhorse of a home. A kitchen is to cook in and definitely not a room where ya gotta tip toe around. There’s flour dust, sauce splatters, hot bubbling oil splatters, fingerprints, food odors, food plops and wine drops…of course its all cleanable BUT its ridiculous to have a prissy kitchen that you’re afraid to do anything in except take pictures of it. And as for the kids room, ummmm has anybody thought that kids need stimulation?! This is a room that needs to be fun, inviting and creative, not a boring palette with everything in its place where kids can’t be kids. They play, they throw stuff, they color on walls, they bounce off the walls and their fingerprints are EVERYWHERE. Let the kids be kids and have their own fun space while mommy n daddy have the rest of their boring, bland house thats propped for Insta.
Ugh, I can’t imagine cleaning all the glass on a stupid chandelier or any other intricate flashy fixture that someone thought would be brilliant to hang in their kitchen. Yeah, have a good time cleaning all the grease that floats around in the air and sticks to EVERYTHING, regardless of how "clean" you think you are.
That’s where the colors don’t go https://youtu.be/CXVw6AOzfJU
You’re my favorite person on Youtube
I have to disagree with the Tf book… it’s a book alot of us among other books, it’s like you can’t help it if we all own the same books… not just that particular one… kisses 😘
I like a neutral base child’s room as long as you add in the color with art and accessories
I have an all white and gray house, color gives me anxiety, but my pop of color is forest green. (Pillows, plants the art on the walls has green in them). Also all my furniture has natural wood tones. If I put art like that on my wall I think it will take away the calmness if I feel when I’m home.
Yes finally someone talking about neutral kids rooms! Colour is so important for baby’s/kids development I’ve literally never understood this trend it just makes me sad for the kiddos 🙄
She’s the human version of grumpy cat…but in the best way
I kinda hate shiplap. Or was that 2020?
the goo looks like she got a nice hair cut! some fresh bangs!
Damn….. negative much?
So with you on the gold fixture overload.
Here’s my 2 cents (or more!):
1. Everything white reminds me of hospitals. Ew. Being a person who visited hospitals a lot during her childhood, pure white/neutral colors and even green curtains in an all white bathroom scares me out.
2. Antique gold/ brass it’s my must seek out for my bathroom and kitchen fittings! So pretty!
3. Aren’t kids rooms supposed to be colorful and look lively, and great for experimenting with colors in a nice way (kinda eclectic)? I think neutral/white colors in kids rooms is awful, unless it’s just the wall or some details. It makes the color balanced and avoid that the colors don’t look like puke lmao.
3. I’m still thinking that the chain and the beaded thingy stuff is stupid, and only someone with barely any shame decided to troll people and convince them that those looks were acceptable, at least. Meh.
4. I understand the book thing, but even thrift stores have way, WAY prettier and interesting books that aren’t as repetitive as, or is the same stuff they have puked with the Tom Ford book. Sorry Tom Ford! But having the same crap copy pasted is so awful.
5. Boucle is so anti my pets, so it’s a no no for me.
6.Lime wash? Is that a thing? It looks awful, and way worse if it’s in the tropics and humid areas.
6. Some wood could be painted, but some just need varnish or just tint. It depends the area you live.
To me, wood on the walls never gets out of style. And the only reason to have gold instead of brass is to show off that you can afford it. Gold never looks good to me, in almost any context. Brass is cool, gold is tacky.
Thank you for saying all this.
Thanks for giving us a different take on decorating. So much trendy stuff that becomes boring/uninteresting/not personal. Keep up the good work!
Gold and white reminds me of Elvis’ jumpsuit. There I said it. Teddy bear chairs should’ve never been a thing. Shop the toy department for that neutral teddy bear that will go in the one place that should never be dull. Silly millenials so says the gen xer that grew up in the most colorful time to be a kid. Yeah, our parents loved wood paneling and put that anywhere but our bedrooms. Bye Bye painted arch, your grandma did that back in the seventies too. It wasn’t interesting then and guess what? Bye Bye bad Tik Tok DIYs, never come back! Let’s just hope valuable antiques weren’t ruined in the process.
the only thing i disagree with is boucle. i can’t help it, i love it T_T
I still remember being bummed out when my parents decided to paint the 60s wood paneling in the basement white (admittedly, at least 25 years ago now). I get that it was dark in there and they wanted to brighten up the space, but I love wood. If my spouse and I ever own a house that has wood paneling or something like that, I’m just going to refinish it if needed to make it look nice but there’s no way I’d paint over it. But sadly, we rent, so the walls are white and the carpet is beige, which means I’ve got art absolutely everywhere.
Everything she doesn’t really like she says to put in the kids/teen room lol
Where are your earrings from?!
This video got me laughing and subscribed. Love your videos
Could you please make a video where you just talk about couches/sofas and what to buy, how to look at the color, material, width length, how to put them in your house, how to style it etc. And then you can do this with beds, closets, lamps etc!!!! thank you 🙂
Omg that all white trend is so american
"I never took part in the all white trend"
Saying this with an all white background.
Agreed with all👍
Bouclé looks good on coats and that’s it. Those chairs are going to look terrible in five years.
Love you & The Goo ❤️
Will you do a "2022 trends that I love"?
Have binge watched all of your videos in 2 days. Love your opinions and videos. Thank you.
I think most people who aren’t into design they always go for the "safest" and boring option that’s why everything looks the same! I don’t know why people are so scared of colours and textures
That whole Fixer Upper Johanna thing did everything in. Hobby Lobby is now all over it and every listed piece of real estate looks like it. People need to turn off their TVs and think for themselves. I love going into someone’s home that is THEM. It may not be what makes sense to me, but it’s THEM, not HGTV. That is HOME.
Can you react to Alecia Keys AD home tour?
Can you review Aaron Paul’s AD, I’d be so interested on your thoughts!
I would be curious for you to review Anna page’s east end apartment!!! I personally love it
