Yep. The bum print was on our rental sofa bed when we moved into our rental…eek

Isn’t beauty in the eye of the beholder? I find it extremely ironic some of the first words out of her mouth are "I hate……" I thought this was a video about trends – not her own opinion…..
Why make people, but who may actually enjoy some of these things in their own home, feel badly for having it l, let alone liking it at all?
If you’d like to discuss actual – REAL – trends, there were so many nicer, less condescending, ways of going about it….."smh" W O W

    设计师的意见很高明,玻璃桌发出的碰撞声很烦人,还有反光,也不能遮掩双腿。

I really would like you to design something that has zero bespoke pieces.. like I get it, your clients have some money, but like I have commented before, they also have to have housekeepers; because some of the materials you choose and what not… you would have to have help keeping the place clean.

I have a narrow reading/ work nook in a corner with a mini chaise lounge, that has faux boxwood coming from the floor to the top of the bookcase (this is max 24” by 50” area) and the main issue is people attach them or buy a material they can’t maintain. My 12×12 panels are purely plastic, so I zipped tied chunks and hung them on small hooks, NOT the ridiculous stapling I see done constantly. This means I can just take my groups and hose them off real fast on my driveway. No tedious dusting, just have to let them dry. I even put a pegboard behind it so I can put holders for my phone, drink, snacks etc while I’m in my little corner. I styled it with a photo flanked by some larger faux ferns I can rince in the sink (with the frame matching the shape of an industrial lamp on top of the case), hung in a way it looks to be resting on the hedge. The faux plant walls were over done in bad materials and often installed in a ridiculous user unfriendly way. Bonus with my panels is I can attach seasonal wreaths to my secret hooks so it looks like my bush is blooming😂❤

Love my thick glass top table…my room looks open and great. I have coasters! Custo.cut safety glass.

  8. architectonic99 on December 27, 2022 at 2:23 am

Thanks for announcing the end of the Jeanneret chairs, they are uncomfortable and don’t know why they became so popular in the first place! Good riddance. The part of the moulding was also excellent, how to integrate them into the design of the room.

I love a good grass wall 🤷🏽‍♀️ sorry lol

    IKEA recommendations pls.

    Spitting image of Kate Middleton

  12. Better Living on a Budget on December 27, 2022 at 2:28 am

100% agree with all these points, especially overly sculptural furniture. Form over function lacks common sense.

  13. Jettsetgirl on December 27, 2022 at 2:28 am

The olive tree is over , same principle as the handbag analogy- everyone’s home is muted shades of Beige , Black accent wall , The same Amazon Stone Mod vases.. the stack of books with the wooden Beads or marble chain & a candle 🤦🏻‍♀️.. its DULL

  14. africannelle 2018 on December 27, 2022 at 2:28 am

I hate faux plants even they supposely look like real !!!! If you are lazy to take care of a plant, use cut flowers to have something alive in your room.

  15. Yeeefaaan on December 27, 2022 at 2:29 am

I love how you’re talking about the cleaning part! Thank you! I’m allergic to dusty stuff so easy to clean is def a important factor for me. Easy to clean and timeless that’s the goal

  16. A LUTA CONTINUA on December 27, 2022 at 2:30 am

    Full of it😮

  17. Charlotte Schaefers on December 27, 2022 at 2:31 am

Fortunately I have only seen these designs in magazines online. Many, I saw for the first time here.

  18. qaz cderfv on December 27, 2022 at 2:32 am

Could not agree more about the faux plant walls. I saw an interior decorator on YouTube/Instagram who had a home gym completely plastered in the vile stuff – will probably suffocate mid-workout with all that plastic!

  19. John Lee Bass on December 27, 2022 at 2:35 am

My new fav YT Designer! I lol how you suppressed giggling at some of these tacky "designs", and the pro tips are spot on!

  20. Monts Melodis on December 27, 2022 at 2:36 am

Cackled all the way through this. I just love you

  21. Virginia Hannah on December 27, 2022 at 2:38 am

Say it one time is a enough.

  23. C Pearson on December 27, 2022 at 2:40 am

Totally agree. Yes to IKEA video.

  24. Robert McCannel on December 27, 2022 at 2:40 am

    Their bum print 🤣🤣🤣

  25. Surf it! on December 27, 2022 at 2:42 am

Faux plants fade and eventually look faux. Crush velvet? It looks like it was in a fire. Hard chairs great for using a stool instead of pulling out a short ladder. Shaggy rugs remind me of Scooby Doo years. Makes me wanna sneeze too. No comment on the overly sculpture furniture. ???? Sphere cushion is for kids to throw at each other. Massproduced dining chair looks like school chairs. I really don’t like wall paper. Glass table – no. I don’t even like glass sliding doors. Love French doors. Daimante? Looks like a DYI crafting project. Paneling’s not my thing. This was fun. New subscriber here.

  26. M K on December 27, 2022 at 2:43 am

This just came up in my recommendation, I’m not even 1 second in and all my mind is telling me "is this Kate Middleton? This can’t be Kate Middleton. Kate Middleton doesn’t have a youtube channel, does she?"
    Am I the only one?

  27. Viva La Revolucion on December 27, 2022 at 2:43 am

I really liked your video. Very helpful hints. One word of feedback. You seem to be like those designers who want to impose your style onto the client. Too many personal opinions and very snobbish at that. If the client want a flower wall, you work with them, you don’t come up with words like "fake". After all, the person reflects the home and vice versa, you don’t want to insult them and labelling as fake

  28. Gavin Saunders on December 27, 2022 at 2:45 am

The wall behind you looks awful.

  29. Rain Dance Ranch on December 27, 2022 at 2:46 am

Agree about the unreal fake plants, but they look good in the photos… but i rarely see fake plant walls that look good

  30. Princess Princess on December 27, 2022 at 2:46 am

Ikea interior designer 👩‍🎨 please ☺️

  31. ChanelNo19 on December 27, 2022 at 2:46 am

I agree with all of these, and I’ll add one of my own: why are. so many rooms nowadays painted battleship gray? Just looks so cold and impersonal.

  32. No Games on December 27, 2022 at 2:48 am

I’ve never even seen a plant wall before. I can safely say I will never have one of those.

  33. Good Grief on December 27, 2022 at 2:50 am

I’m so over those plant walls. Why can’t people buy art for their walls? Are they that intimidated by art?

  34. Patricia Taubenslag on December 27, 2022 at 2:52 am

I agree with you on everything but the glass top table. Living in FL, we have a gorgeous round kitchen table with glass top and rattan chairs upholstered with coastal fabric. We get compliments constantly. Guess it is a matter of personal taste and where your home is located. I personally think your counter top and backsplash that you are standing in front of during this video, is unattractive and looks like zebra strips. 😂

  35. Foggy Craw on December 27, 2022 at 2:54 am

Can someone please tell me where that round sofa from the thumbnail is from!?

  36. G 74 on December 27, 2022 at 2:55 am

VERY NICE! THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!! My wondering is about the chair for dinning room. Your chair are very nice but it will "mark" because not easy to clean. It s why I was looking for others more in "synthetic" or wood. I am scared to clean the ice beige chair…..dont you think?

  37. divyanshi chopra on December 27, 2022 at 2:57 am

Pierre Jeanneret chairs looks great and is very comfortable.
I have used them for hours.
    I lived in Chandigarh.
    Your review needs a review.

  38. Jess Barnes on December 27, 2022 at 2:57 am

Does anyone really have a fake plant wall in their home? I’ve seen them in restaurants.

  39. Gwn5555 on December 27, 2022 at 2:58 am

    I agree 👍 💯 I have a question 4 u. What do u think of paneling a textured wall or do u prefer a smooth wall?

  40. YoKeen on December 27, 2022 at 2:58 am

Lost me at " I don’t mind faux plants. I’m a big advocate for faux plants at your home…"

  41. Rain Dance Ranch on December 27, 2022 at 3:01 am

At 8:08… that couch looks more like a lounge around kick back couch to me, and absolutely inappropriate for a waiting room.

  42. divyanshi chopra on December 27, 2022 at 3:02 am

    Pere

  43. globalcitizen on December 27, 2022 at 3:03 am

If you have dust allergies then you should never have carpets in your home. They are magnets for dust and dust mites and other 🕷🪳🐜 😱. Peace ☮

Thank you for this interesting video!.💐🏵️🌺🌻🌹🌷🌼🌸💖❤️🍀🏵️
i just do not like the word " hate "…..

Dahm hun er da bare så kedelig at høre på, total monoton

  46. tkb on December 27, 2022 at 3:06 am

    Thanks Kate Middleton 😉

  47. Jess Barnes on December 27, 2022 at 3:09 am

I loved that glass and wood coffee table. Don’t like sharp edges on coffee tables- make me nervous that I’ll bash my shins.

  48. kaels.mp4 on December 27, 2022 at 3:12 am

you look so much like kate Middleton <3 love the vid

  49. Michael Frilund on December 27, 2022 at 3:13 am

Faux plant walls are as bad as faux mullions on windows in new houses. And then there are those LOVE signs and letter combinations that I see far too often.

  50. Tammy on December 27, 2022 at 3:15 am

Who doesn’t use a coasters for their cup? Must have lost of money for the French polisher. . . 🤔☕
