Home Office in Blender 2.8 – 3D Modeling Timelapse Tutorial

Home Office in Blender 2.8 – 3D Modeling Timelapse Tutorial

Low poly was coming a little bit short, when it comes to catching the atmosphere of the minimalistic home office with wooden furniture, so I made a semi-realistic scene this time. It’s all about that light and space. And I think I just made my future office 🙂 What does your dream office look like?

Please can you tell me why at 15:13 you dissolved all those edges and then loop cut them back as it was before. What was the reason of doing that?

This looks soooooo good, once again: I love your style, your palette taste is so beautiful 😍 do you think would be possible to create the same aesthetics for videogame assets? Would be the modeling process different than yours in this video? A point and click adventure game with this style would be mindblowing 😍😍 thank u Roman for your awesome art

As someone who once cut my head open on the sharp edge of a table, I appreciate that you beveled/subdivided literally every single sharp corner to make sure that other people won’t feel the same pain I did.

Couldn’t you create please a cheaper tutorial for this office making for example? I checked your courses but they are damn expensive for me. 🙁 If you could put them up on your site with descriptions I would buy some courses.

This office looks dope. How did you get the bright reflections from under the sofa in the end? is that just how the final render came out or was there some special trick to it? Also, you didn’t show a lot of the small items you made to finish the office 😀 But mostly i’m curious about the bright reflections that became nice shadows in the end. Thanks in advance 🙂

Would you explain me about those light probes you put? Like what do they do? They gave a nice look to light on the scene but I don’t really understand what they do.

  44. David Struve on May 4, 2023 at 11:37 am

My office is much narrower and longer than this render – but I can see some elements (or all of them, actually) working with it!! I should totally render out my office space and use that to plan out how I want it to look – much better than simply trying to "see it" in your own mind! 😀 Awesome work as per usual!

  45. Jayson Esguerra on May 4, 2023 at 11:39 am
