House Tour: A modern five-room HDB home designed with antique accents
Singapore-based interior design studio ICIA designed a contemporary 5-room HDB apartment home for this Singaporean former banker and his family. Details on the design here: http://www.tinyurl.com/antiquecollectorhd
Local people stay in 1 hdb house 5 of them
foreigners stay 1 person 1 hdb and 5 person on landed property
Unfairness now nowonder stress country
Humidity in the bathroom gonna spoil the expensive artwork though!
its ugly to see HDB pipes in the toilet !!
How much is the reno costs?
Wow! Very nice Reno! It’s beautiful!
You don’t need to stay condominium to renovate the whole house. From this idea you could see how the old to new concept it makes the house bigger and nicer. And it if its for sale i would definitely buy this house.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
lovely home..I love it…hope one day I would have this kind of house..
This is the prefect design for Tropical Singapore. We know as we are in the reupholstery business in Singapore. Lovely to see such good work in Singapore. http://www.centrepiece.com.sg
The pipes ruin the design🤨
Somehow i feel the house is too small for him. Im worried he knock his head on the ceiling
All nicely done, however Master room design in a No No 🙏
They sold it in 2020..for about 1.3 million.
very beautiful ! 🙂
Obviously he’s a foreigner so he can afford it. Imagine a singaporean
Handsome owner👌👍🙏🏻
3 years ago concept and now we has guests outdoor garden area. Down stair 19th floor.
What does “typically Singaporean cooking” means? How different is it? What stereotype is this? It’s like saying this kind of video presentation and choice of words, is very “white skin” style.
.. the last I’ve checked westerners "licked" "typical" Asian food .. what a way to described the sliding door of the kitchen ..
I love the kitchen vibe but laundry in the kitchen…..naaaahhhhhhh
Surely solid 150k at least for hacking and reno
Awkward narrow space between the glass shower area n wash basin in guest toilet. He literally has to walk like a crab. 3:03. The color of MBR toilet tile is definitely not light. 4:05 It is visually confusing with its ornate pattern. What is he talking?
Too big for 1 bedroom
the kitchen is nice to see, but practical? it might suit the current owner but not majority of singapore household. The sink is built at window for cloth hanging, thus can’t really use that part to sun dry cloth anymore, need to use dryer all the time. higher electricity overtime. no power socket along the kitchen cabinet next to coffee machine. Real kitchen has many appliances.
how much is the sliding glass door for the kitchen and room?
no TV FW and console area? total cost i tihnk $100k for the renovation excluding the furniture. 🙂
There is no tv in the hall?
why the seating area no tv one HAHHAH
Super Nice!
Need hard cash to have this done. Not everybody has that cash. House is beautiful.
His head will hit the rain shower. I Guess he is really tall but he’s not the owner anyway:) nice home and I got a few inspirations from here! Nice work indeed.
wow what a home! 😊😊
HI, may i know how much was the renovation cost, please? I love it, would like to do the same. Thank you.
Fantastic walkthrough and presentation. A job well done!
“Um and uh” count: 💯
This is nice
Nobody talks about the cloths to dry, how do you reach them just outside the sink ? 😳
Very baba..nice…no tv…nicer!! Haha
why are those ducts protruding out of the walls in the bathrooms?!
So much see through glass and wood. Very typical westerner’s taste.
It’s a nice apartment, but that’s not a king sized bed.
Designs are good but why is the ceiling of the house so,,low,,
10K in total?
was the entrance of the house relocated?
Fantastic! Very nice renovation!
Good simple design
Really nice decoration~! Would be great if there is a work desk area as well.
How much would this renovation cost?
this is a new 5 room flat? the master bedroom and the toilet are so small
very nice done up, suitable for home lovers
Sink directly opposite stove. Oven and washing machine are stacked together. Fire and water elements should not be together or directly opposite. Fengshui not good!
