I love this decor style and I don’t care how many "so called," interior decorators say it’s now, a stupid style unless you live in Tuscanny – they can all go jump in The Mediterranean Sea!!! 😁

Being Italian and about to move to in Tuscany, I can say there is a lot of French style in this video. Typical tuscan style must include the ‘cotto toscano’, the typical irregular reddish terracotta floors. The walls are usually painted with intense colours such as red, orange, green and blue while the beams and the furniture is almost always dark, the latter being made of just a few, very essential pieces. This is the TYPICAL Tuscan style. What is shown in this video is perhaps the choice many house owners who live in Italy have made, that is, a lighter and more Provence-like style. I personally prefer it too, however mind that this is not the ‘typical tuscan style’.

No matter what video you watch about decorating these days it is ALL about either grey (UGH!) or neutrals. PEOPLE – color is pretty, paint some color into your life. It will cheer you up! When we bought our home it was 100% painted beige, with all beige countertops, carpets and and flooring. During the pandemic we put in new countertops, ripped out the flooring and replaced it with dark brown wood tones, and painted every wall in the house a color – yes color. Greens , yellows etc. We bought an area rug for the LR that has an ivory background but has pinks, yellow, greens,blues and yes, some grey.In the den we put a blue and yellow rug, it brightened up the room so much! Just because neutrals are trendy doesn’t mean you can’t brighten up your life by putting color in your home.

I sold my house which was unique..the buyer bought house and everything in it!
I had a southwest room, medival office, jungle room and antique room..it may sound off but it all came together.
Today I have a blank canvas. House I moved into has a Dallas southwest look.
My buyer didn’t want my auenthetic throne chairs.
I’m going off them.
Hence, the Tuscan look.
I’m going to start with painting a couple walks with a glaze. I did this in medieval room.
