brilliant Video everything i need to know in only 5 mins
How long for the thinset to dry with the tile on the concrete?
Пол можно выровнять и поднять самовыравнивающийся смесью.., от 2-х миллиметров минимально и 10 сантиметров максимально… И не надо будет мучится со слоем клея…
I’m laying 16m2 of tiles tomorrow and have watched this video 5 times over so far to pick up the tips. Bought all the stuff from 0:10 earlier today.
Saw some comments about people not liking the music, but I couldn’t be more opposite, I love the music! For some reason every time I listen to it I get enjoyment out of the audio alone! Great video, keep up the hard work!
Thank you for this informative video
Sharp
Most distracting music ever
You really gonna leave voids under the corners like that? Just asking for a broken tile
Absolutely a tutorial that makes everything clear without wasting time.
This is THE BEST video — thanks for taking the time to explain in detail what to do!!
Wouldn’t leveling cement have been easier than building the huge adhesive base beneath each tile? I’m also afraid that some of the corners of some of these tiles will be fragile since they have no support underneath. But excellent video though!
2:51 I’m sure that was on the set of Bangbros before. 😂
NICE
Do not tile directly onto concrete. Use a decoupler. If you mortar the floor directly to the concrete and the concrete cracks, which concrete often does, the tile will crack too because there is nothing between the concrete and the tile helping to preventing it. There are many products on the market, Schulter Ditra, Mapei Mapguard 2, etc. You dont want to know the cost of having to fix a cracked tile floor.
How can we cut ties without a saw?🙊
Did you need to place anything underneath the tiles ?
To a regular person, it looks perfect; however, it is not installed correctly. You need an uncoupling membrane installed on the concrete first.
Very nice tiles design
Is it pronounced " go to" or " godew"
Best video I’ve found so far for a simple refresher on technique. That being said, wanna come help with my house? 😂
For the tile around or underneath corners, what is the proper application of thinset? Do, you just rely on buttering the tile or still need to get thin set in the hard to reach corners of the floor?
So the cheering wasnt in my head… This is good
Pointless music and whooping, had to turn off half way through.
Instructions unclear. Now i got peanut butter under the tiles instead of mortar and mayonnaise in the tile spaces

It was really challenging to pay attention to the instruction because of all the background noise. Since you did a voice over, maybe you could just remove the soundtrack of the unnecessary noise? It would be so helpful. Thank you.
Do you have to level the floor before laying the tile or can you just pour extra thinset to make up for the low spots?
Specifically for a laundry room.
Also would you happen to know if there is a maximum depth for leveling? Like if part of your house is falling down a hill and has a 2 or 3 inch low spot is it safe to have 3 inches of thinset? The reason I’m asking is for a house that has hardwood floors and I’m trying to raise the tile to be level.
Very helpful thank you
Well, I had some Bostik Porcelain Mate Cement laying around. Can I use it to fill a 2x3x3 inches hole in the wall?
Simple math replaces silly midline technique.
What kind of tile is that?
Voids under tiles and no expansion joints
Much respect! I thought you needed cement board or some sort of sub flooring cover over concrete. If the slab cracks the tile will too right?
Great instructions. The music is a bit distracting, though.
Dont you need underlayment fabric? Also, tile before cabinets?
Too much work. I will get a man to do it.
Nice video despite all the criticism. Converting my garage into an ADU. The foundation is concrete and 30 years old without a single crack. I really do not see any reason to put an underlayment down. I have done tile over concrete before and just wanted a refresher course and the most important thing that I got from this video is using a long straight edge to run my tile against for a straight line. I have already placed all my tile down along straight edges that I’d drawn onto the concrete floor and made all my cuts for all my tile. I was afraid that I would lose my lines when placing the mortar down and my lines would not be straight bc they were covered up my mortar. With the straight edge in place i will be able to start both my vertical and horizontal tiles in place and the rest will follow straight. I am also using the Inline Leveling caps to insure all my tile in level.
Do you need to use a sub floor on concrete?
A lot of these tiles will be drumy
Sounds like the voiceover was done during a volleyball game at the beach~
Good job!
How did you determine the high-point of the floor?
Excellent job sir good updat

Why are all the tile edges empty? With no thinset
At 2:11, do you realize how many air pockets are under your tiles along the edges. Major weak spots. Or do you fill those pockets in?
That’s a lot of thinset
No primer ?
