  15. Ernesto Otaqui on October 2, 2022 at 5:10 am

Okay… I’m actually taking notes on this. I’m moving out for the first time by myself.πŸ“πŸ“

    Color scheme:
    1 – Base color
1 – Accent color (Accent color looks better if it’s darker than the base color)
    1 or 2 – Textures and materials.

    Home Office Elements:
βœ… Every item must be functional ✨
    βœ… Lighting πŸ’‘
βœ… Figure out your storage (side note, no boxes πŸ“¦= better)
βœ…Assign the things to their home 🏠
    βœ… Keep it clean 🧹✨

Bonus Point: Don’t rush the process. Every item, every place needs to inspire you.

PD. Thank you, Edward. I just subscribed.

Nice desk setup, Is the Sway Desk wobbly?

  22. Corey Holmes on October 2, 2022 at 5:20 am

Fantastic video. I love the idea of being okay with the empty spaces for a long time, as long as you’re working towards the design goal. I happen to live with a person who fills spaces beautifully AND quickly lol so it’s hard to not compare myself negatively to that kind of efficiency. But lemme tell you, when I finally moved my desk setup to the perfect spot, got my plants in place, and bought a reed diffuser (big recommendation for those. I copped from Harlem Candle Company)….oooh that felt great lol.

Looking forward to finding more perfect spots.

Great video! Just now setting up my little work corner in my "studio" (2nd bedroom…), and I will definitely take your advice on taking my time. Right now I just want to rush and buy a bunch of stuff lol, but I’m gonna feel it out a bit first. Thanks man!

  25. Dartheomus on October 2, 2022 at 5:21 am

Excellent points. I have a large beautiful room for an office, and it’s a cluttered mess with a 20 year old particle board desk. I am ready to revamp the entire thing, and this was inspiring. I just wish it didn’t take so long! One crazy take away for me… that Husky drawer set. I would have never even considered something that utilitarian, and yet it works perfectly. I’m totally stealing that idea! It’s exactly what I need for all my tools, hobby parts, camera gears, guitar stuff… that’s just awesome. Thanks for putting this together!

3:51, what that item looking like chest drawers cabinet??

  37. JoeSchmoe on October 2, 2022 at 5:35 am

From what I understand is that the desk shouldn’t be against wall if possible, but at least shouldn’t be against the one with window, and definitely not with the back to the door.

  38. Yo G on October 2, 2022 at 5:35 am

Hey there, nice vid. Wanted to ask what sheen your walls are; e.g. Matt, Eggshell, Satin? Best.

  48. ACES Cochin on October 2, 2022 at 5:48 am

although it all looks good to watch, you’ve got it completely upside down and wrong my dear. maybe the space limitations are such that you’re willing to accommodate that compromise into your setup but, trust me, it can be done better

  49. devanpy on October 2, 2022 at 5:50 am

Liked most of it except the gigantic floodlight

  50. My Roaring Bawk on October 2, 2022 at 5:50 am

This was wonderful. I think it was perfectly shot, not too long or short of a video and of course excellent tips. Thanks for your video buddeee.
