  4. Florida Life on July 31, 2022 at 3:34 am

THIS IS SO HELPFUL! Thank you! One Q though: If you don’t have the auto leveling system, did you use a level on all sides to find out what to adjust? And also, I am assuming that by trial and error that you found out how many blocks go on each side? Thanks again!

Great video… really informative and somewhat simple. I’ve just moved into a 2017 Class C and really love it. So much to learn as the electrical connection stopped working due to a rainstorm and it’s too early to run the generator. Thank goodness the heat still works!! I’ll be dry camping soon and will check out your other videos to see if one helps. All the best to you both. Oh one more thing is I’m a single gal (almost a senior) and would love tips on camping alone. thanks

Thank you sooo much! I am renting an RV for the first time this weekend to take grandson fishing and your video was very valuable for this 73 yr old who has never done it.
Electrical and water were common sense for me, but the sewer line I was so iffy on. I feel so much more confident now! Thanks again.

  40. Mari Mora on July 31, 2022 at 4:19 am

I’m at this moment on my first RV trip ever with my ten year old and while I got an overview from the person who rented this to me, I need help. I don’t have a water pressure piece and just use the hose provided. Do I leave the water running on? Does it regulate from the inside part of the water hook up? Stupid question l know! Also, the ac is only running when I have the generator on. When I turn it off and have the regular electricity hook up, AC nor the microwave turn on. My cotnact hasn’t gotten to me but checking if I am lucky to have someone read this. Am I doing soemthing wrong? Do so need to push a different button to make the ax work without the generator? Is there a video about the buttons inside the RV?

  41. Anthony Lombardo on July 31, 2022 at 4:20 am

Can you fill the water tank with a normal garden hose?

I love the simplicity of this video and how easy these initial steps are to follow. My wife and I just purchased a pull behind mini camper last week and are preparing for our first trip in June. Your explanation is so easy to understand and simple. Well done from Georgia.

Canapy tents…..Don’t setup and stake the Canapy "right on" the site line, give it at least 4-5′. All the rain water from the canapy roof pours on the other site, or kicks dirt where it falls on the neighbors RV. I was in a tight/narrow sited RV park on the shores of Maine…..the neighbor (a newby) decided to stake his canapy so the water had to pour on my slide. I actually didn’t catch it, the RV PARK OWNER DID, and told him to move it. I walked back to my RV during their conversation and saw it all.
He staked the canapy about 1′ from my slide…..I would have had a meltdown.

  49. Ralph B. on July 31, 2022 at 4:28 am

I watched YouTube videos for years before buying our RV. You can find out how to do just about anything from the creative people who post videos and I thank all of you. The very first thing we do after we pull into a campsite is check to make sure the water and electric work. It’s a real inconvenience to find out that the pedestal is wired wrong , no electricity or there is no water and have to move to a different site after you hooked up everything. This happened to me, but luckily, we were able to plug into the empty pedestal at the vacant site next to us until the campground maintenance fixed ours.

I know this is an old video we just bought our first rv classC. My husband is confident he knows enough to handle this but I don’t trust him haha so I am doing my own research and educationg myself with rv 101. This by far is the most helpful and easy to understand video Ihave ever seen. Thank you so much! Excited for our very first camping trip next month.
