Always liked propane, most major truck stops have propane and the Travel Centers generally have water and dump sites. When I was long haul trucking I found the Walmart road Atlas very useful as it has all Walmart and Sam’s club sites listed by state.

Thousand Trails was such a bummer for me. I had the SW portion, and I hit most of the ones in Calif. Recreational Vehicle? They weren’t recreating,, they are living/working/going to school. Assembling trampolines and whatnot. Trash, fights and weekend drunken parties. The situation improved in Oregon and by the time I hit Washington, it was acceptable. Would I rec this organization? NO

Be careful with service station water. I filled my fresh water tank and got residue from what was pvc glue from a recent pipe fix. It took along time to get rid of the taste from our fresh water tank. Probably just bad luck.

Do these campsites have a limit for the size of RV? My Husband and I are going to buy a 38ft long motorhomes and everyone is telling me that most campsites would only allow 30ft long or less. Is this true?

  45. georgerodom on July 15, 2022 at 3:06 am

  46. Whitney1306 on July 15, 2022 at 3:07 am
