Hi YT fam! In today’s video we are discussing 2023 home decor and home trends. I think it is important for us to be educated on what is trending in the home decor world. However, there are a lot of us that simply can’t afford large renovations & home projects. Within this video, I discuss my favorite trends for the year and simple and inexpensive ways/ideas on implementing it into your space. I hope you enjoy!

Great overview Hannah. I have to admit I have been loving bringing more brown tones into my home thru decor. (Still not sure how I feel about brown kitchens etc but as accent color I am liking it)

  13. Pam Warwick on January 28, 2023 at 5:34 am

Enjoyed this video. I’m not a super trendy person but like to keep up with new trends. Thanks for giving us ways to bring some of the current trends into our homes without completely redoing a room or having to spend loads of money.

  14. Meisha Welcome on January 28, 2023 at 5:34 am

I didn’t know chopping pillows was a trend. Lol. I think it just makes the area look more put together.

  15. Elaine BobaFisch on January 28, 2023 at 5:35 am

Totally agree! Do what makes you happy! I jumped on the all white kitchen trend and I still love it. It really brightened up my kitchen making it look more spacious too. I’m so glad I didn’t do subway tiles when they were trendy and I had strongly considered it thanks to Joanna Gaines! 🤦🏽‍♀️😆

  18. LETIZIA Gallinari on January 28, 2023 at 5:37 am

I grew up not well-off, so thifting and second-hand stores were a way of living in my family. Plus, as a younger sibling, hand-downs were my entire childhood 😄 Now, as an adult, I enjoy it as a dopamine dose. It is nostalgic for me, and brings me joy!
"Dark academia" and "grandma chic" from old world items and hand-downs from all family members has been my style. "What’s old will be new"!
Lean into what YOU love people! Worry less about trends. 💜

  20. Verenis Figueroa on January 28, 2023 at 5:39 am

You kitchen runner!!!! Where can I find it!!???

  21. Lisa Whitecrow on January 28, 2023 at 5:41 am

Great video and love the suggestions about small ways to integrate the marble. Can you link the runner that you showed? TIA.

  22. YourstrulyAlisa on January 28, 2023 at 5:41 am

Chopping pillows is considered a "trend". Girl keep chopping them pillows😆. Love the video as always.

  23. LilWhit 28 on January 28, 2023 at 5:44 am

I love brown woodwork and kitchens, they are so warm and inviting. I’ve never been one for the stark white; I think it’s very cold, just my personal preference. I agree 100% with adding trends in with your décor and not completely renovating a home. It’s way too expensive. I love mixing vintage and traditional with a little modern twist. It’s kind of funny the "trends" that are coming in. I’ve had an arched mirror in my home for over 5 years, lol.

  24. Agave on January 28, 2023 at 5:44 am

Interesting expensive trends particularly the dark marble backsplash in kitchen. The wallpaper in your daughters’ bedrooms is very pretty.

  25. Mary Ann Gardner on January 28, 2023 at 5:45 am

Where did you get your runner rug in your kitchen? The color is amazing, I can’t find it on Kathy kuo?

  26. natvtxn12 on January 28, 2023 at 5:46 am

Hi Hannah, where did you get your kitchen runner? It’s the exact colors I need!

  27. Shavel on January 28, 2023 at 5:47 am

I absolutely love this video!!!! 😍You already know this is me all the way. Vintage, thrifting and marble. Color is definitely coming back from the ceiling to the baseboard. Great video sis ❤️

  28. Linda Gonzales on January 28, 2023 at 5:47 am

  29. Maria Williams on January 28, 2023 at 5:47 am

I love how you encourage us to stay true to ourselves and not get so completely caught up in the trends. I have always been a brown lover and had just l started questioning whether or not I should paint some of my furniture white, but I just couldn’t do it. I already have arches in my living area so I’m in style. 😉 Thanks again for great tips Hannah! 😊❤😊

You are soo thoughtful about your content and it shows. Thank you for your research and amazing ideas. You’re one of my fav home channels for sure!

  35. Rox Angel on January 28, 2023 at 5:57 am

As a girl who always stays true to her edgy vibe I love the advise you shared. Your home should always reflect you as a person and be filled with the things you love. I have a lot of black in my home and I just added a Mustard colored faux fur rug over my sofa and some large yellow stems from pottery barn it gave the dramatic punch I was looking for! 🖤

  36. BE YOU on January 28, 2023 at 6:00 am

Hi Hannah, I am new to your channel and I love your style. I noticed you had some amazing interior design / styling books. Would you be so kind as to do a little video on these and gives us your thoughts on what you would recommend. Thank you. Love from Australia 🇦🇺x

Your amazing!! Keep up the great work.

  39. Veronica Hartman on January 28, 2023 at 6:02 am

Hannah, you hit it out of the ballpark. I have been following most of them for quite a while. I have a mixture of antiques, very few new items. Lots of artwork. Love the moody vibe. ❤😊

  40. Julchen Zamora REALTOR on January 28, 2023 at 6:05 am

I adore your vision, graciously moving and sorting trends without missing the true essence.
    Making a house HOME!
I love how you always start with "what talks to me" "What reflects me" and "What mixes and matches my lifestyle and my character"
You sorted it perfectly and said it out loud (I love that) You don’t have to spend tons of dollars or go into the complete renovation to stay trendy.
I have to WOW again because I think it is absolutely beautiful how you put it together here and there without overwhelming yourself (or us)
No need to copy anyone with all those tips and ideas nor a need for huge expenses.
My favorites are the dramatic bold marbles EVERYTHING reflected on trays, bowls, and accessories, and you girl killed with yours! and of course PILLOWS and oil paintings

Put another check mark for me, trends move faster than we really think and it is a total waste of time, energy, and money ( happy for those who can do it but not me) however finding timeless pieces to incorporate into my decor that shows what is trendy now is a huge YES from me!! (This is something you already mastered!)
Thanks for a fantastic put-together video!!!

  41. Azizah Kahera on January 28, 2023 at 6:06 am

Great Tips! Where can we find links for the items you mentioned or own including the items in your background. Thanks 😊

    Great video!

  43. ADK on January 28, 2023 at 6:07 am

Great video. Trends come and go I have always stayed neutral and timeless. Purchased my RH Camden DR table 13 years ago and I still love it. That large marble vein look comes and goes. Best to stay neutral when it comes to countertops. Cesarstone is also a great option. I remember having such a difficult time choosing my kitchen countertop. It’s a “L” shape (14×11) and I thought I wanted all white. Thank god I changed my mind. My kitchen would have looked like a medical lab. I remember the owner telling me “you better be sure on the colour it’s not like painting a wall a different colour”. I will never forget that advice. He made me take my time and he also cut large samples so I can take home and see the colour in my light. I never forget great customer service.

  44. Ann Maupin on January 28, 2023 at 6:08 am

Yes… I can’t believe you have to say to a grown up “ it’s okay not be trendy” then have to say something else to another. People this is interior design. Thank you so much Hannah. Whew.. Can’t wait to see your loft. Loved everything today. I have same marble tray. Love marble. Grew up with marble. Doesn’t matter if trendy or not. Love wood, actually I kinda love everything. Florals, colors- jeez !
I’m in trouble. Love your channel!!!! ❤❤❤

Hey Hannah gurl!! I just purchased some fabulous accent rugs that are washable from Sams. They came in today and I was so pleased with them. Then here you are talking about implementing rugs with bold dark colors🤸🏾‍♀️🙌🏾I’m learning gurl. Keep the information coming.
