Rebecca, you are gifted. God bless you and keep you. He will guide you in reducing the plan, if you ask Him.

  2. Sarah Maguire on September 4, 2022 at 4:33 am

My brother and just watched…awsome…what if you did guest cabins for your adult kids and kept the grandchildrens room? You could then air b&b the cabins for the rest of the year when your not having family get togethers. You could call them your Kinwoven Cabins!
    Thank you so much for your videos! :-}

I’m a huge fan of built-in cabinets around a Murphy bed for guest rooms. Flex the space as storage room and guest room.

  4. Cj Howard on September 4, 2022 at 4:38 am

Who plays the piano in the family ?

  5. carol sloss on September 4, 2022 at 4:39 am

Rebecca, this is just beautiful. GOOD LUCK.

You need a prayer room to pray to Jesus n thank him because God is good all the time 🙏

So excited for you Rebecca! I love your houseplan, especially designing the pool to be in the centre of a U shaped home. Separate ends for your personal space from those of your guests will be wonderful. Thinking light years ahead now, but have you considered small changes you can make to have one bathroom easily adapted for a disability bathroom? You might choose to have a wall hung vanity, a smooth level floor and the doorway width all suitable for wheelchair access. It will appear like a normal bathroom now, but if needed later, rails etc could easily be added. A family member is putting in a slide in- slide out bathtub. For normal use it looks like a bathtub with a shower head over the top. For disability use, the bathtub goes out a purpose built floor level window, then you have a fully functional disability bathroom. An amazing idea. I have yet to see it in person or see how the bathtub is moved out. Food for thought do you think Rebecca? Looking forward to following your journey and thank you so much for your wonderful videos over the years. Alison x

The house is nice, but it’s too modern for my taste. I love the house you live in right now.
But, did you think of the perfect location for the Christmas tree? Maybe where the piano is? and one in the kitchen area?

  9. Carolyn Thomason on September 4, 2022 at 4:46 am

I would love to have my pantry by the garage with door to put all groceries in .

    Love this for you!

  12. MLM on September 4, 2022 at 4:53 am

The home is beautiful but I would suggest NEVER put a pool inside a home as the moisture and odor and and and……..it just won’t work. It’s a dream yes, but don’t let it become a nitemare! Moisture destroys a home. Use the largest rooms in what you use most and adapt reality to the use of the other rooms.
It’s beautiful. Make yourself happy and your guests comfortable but don’t break the bank doing so. Loved the video, love all you do and love watching you unfold knowledge to us in each video…….and absolutely love YOUR CHRISTMAS DESIGNS………NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO! ❤❤❤❤❤

And once you’ve completed your dream house you’ll need to have the plans available. No doubt people will want your ideas! I used SO many of your them in building OUR new house. I "almost" had you locked in but the Denver project happenedMy builder wouldn’t wait any longer.. . I was devastated. Alas, no Rebecca but a LOT of your ideas. You’d recognize them all. Funny thing, your idea of hiding your ceiling vent in your living room using repeating dowels was used in MY built in and then repeated in the valance directly across the way. It’s amazing. I also installed several toe kick drawers and the floor to ceiling mirror in the smallest room is magic. ALL because of YOU. <3

  14. Renata Simkiene on September 4, 2022 at 4:55 am

Rebecca, You forgot big window in master bathroom!! :)) Beautifull!

  15. Travel Ready Kid on September 4, 2022 at 4:55 am

    Did anyone mention a gym?
I agree that you need ADA bathroom.
    Where is pool changing area?
    Central vac was good idea.
If you add an upper level, add an elevator wide enough for wheel chair. I would do office on second level.

    Beautiful!

  16. Dawn Cerise on September 4, 2022 at 4:55 am

What great ideas you always have!!! Love the kids bunk room, Perfect!!! Im sure the end result wont be, but the model looks cold to me. Heating a virtual glass house will be very costly… I would not want to have to winter in it.

  17. Joanne Carroll on September 4, 2022 at 4:56 am

Love that you’re using what you have in the design, the retractable/pocket doors are my favourite feature. This house should be for YOU, the rest is just details, but Imho you shouldn’t pay a mortgage for space that is empty more than 98% of the time to show your kids you love them. They’re grown adults with families themselves, if they don’t get that now, a room won’t help. I’m sure you can re-design an innovative space down to only 2 rooms which can be shared between all of them & which can each be divided at night with a screen wall/pocket door thing, if your kids have partners with them & require more privacy. Next, you keep your sewing space, we both know it never gets used when you have to keep unpacking it & you shouldn’t have to work out of a garage if you are giving rooms to people who don’t even live there. Next ,1 person doesn’t need 2 laundry rooms – reposition it somewhere better-suited to you & ditch the 2nd one completely, 2 laundries are not a very earth-friendly way to run a household. You may want to take this opportunity to consider climate in the building equation – all that glass would make our home impossible to live in, as where we live is just too hot in summer (btw only the Northern hemisphere has to consider the sun in the South & you have followers here in the Southern hemisphere too lol). In your part of the world, you’ll lose a lot of heat in Winter; yourhome.gov.au says up to 40% of heating energy is lost through glazing & up to 87% heat is gained from sunlight therefore requiring cooling, so I’d seriously consider double glazing/UV filter on those glass panels. You also have the opportunity this far in advance to consider solar power that can save you money & grey water systems that can help irrigate your land. You can even save thousands on your landscaping by getting less mature (cheaper)plants into the outlying parts of the property earlier. Best of luck.

Perfect! You did a great job. I can’t wait to see the finished house.

  19. sc000ter000 on September 4, 2022 at 4:57 am

You need a "backstage" area for seasonal decor and gobs of storage. Plus…. forgive me, but the pool is a bit short… if you are gonna swim….

  20. Nicki Savage on September 4, 2022 at 4:58 am

Love it but it will be super expensive. I hope it comes back within your budget because I would love to see it come to fruition.

  21. Vicfric on September 4, 2022 at 4:59 am

Wow it is beautiful but, with your taste about 2.5 mil to build I would guess. That would be in Cali at least. Go for it girl!!!

  22. Nazma Islam on September 4, 2022 at 4:59 am

Just wondering where is storage room?? You have almost store like stuffs 😳 like lots of. 😄😄 i think u need fit that in as well.

Just love it becky….love love love ❤️❤️

  24. Phyllis Drinnen on September 4, 2022 at 5:01 am

Very well thought out. I will be excited to see how you add character to this new home. I do love the addition of brick on the inside. I noticed that you will have a lot of outdoor living space. Does Tulsa weather accommodate a lot of outdoor living? I am so excited for you!

  25. Deborah Soulier on September 4, 2022 at 5:01 am

Congratulations Rebecca! This home is insane! Gorgeous.

How often does the whole family come?

  28. Joe Lawrence on September 4, 2022 at 5:05 am

Very good. But you need: Bath towel warmers! Hot tub? Storage. Garage?

  29. J C on September 4, 2022 at 5:07 am

Where is the Christmas tree setup going to be

  30. Amy Copeland on September 4, 2022 at 5:08 am

You’ve thought of everything for your plan…except your Christmas and decor warehouse separate from the house. 🙂 It was great to dream. I had a boss that always said dream big and then you can always refine your plan as you go. You did great. I could see you there in that house with a big circle drive in the front of the house.

  31. Judy Walker on September 4, 2022 at 5:08 am

How exciting! Love the layout. I’m a sucker for a pool so that’s my favorite part. 🙂

  32. sc000ter000 on September 4, 2022 at 5:08 am

Lol…. two sets of kingsize bunk beds in one room for your kids, just like the grandkids rooms!

  33. LinGrazie on September 4, 2022 at 5:10 am

    Love it!

  34. Raina Sandow on September 4, 2022 at 5:11 am

Hi Rebecca, Love the U shaped design. A friend of mine has a similar U shaped design with pool and it’s really lovely with light filtering in the entire house.
Only consideration would be to have a larger family room/great room with bigger seating for the entire family instead of just one sofa off of the Kitchen area

  35. Gina Tay on September 4, 2022 at 5:15 am

AWESOME!! You deserve it Mama! I can’t wait to walk this journey with you! God Bless U 🙏🏼

  36. 2atTHE MILL on September 4, 2022 at 5:17 am

Christmas storage in the ceiling /attic of the garage perhaps?

  37. Private Meik on September 4, 2022 at 5:17 am

I just Started to love the Tulsa House you‘re living in now (which i didn‘t when i saw it before Renovation ). What is the reason why you‘ve decided to give ist up, dear?

  38. Lotus Bloom on September 4, 2022 at 5:18 am

I love it especially how you can open up the doors to the pool ,we couldn’t do that in Australia I wish we could though 🙁 that will be amazing for you .They are so strict here in regards to pool safety feels like the Rules are changing every year they came out this week and I have to have extra glass fencing after having it as is for 12 yrs . Can’t wait to follow your journey

  39. Carol Rice on September 4, 2022 at 5:18 am

To possibly save on cost with your new home, have you thought about putting some bedrooms upstairs?

  40. One Space at a Time on September 4, 2022 at 5:21 am

Hi Rebecca!!!! When I say this rendering is AMAZING! Im praying that you can in some way get everything you want in your dream home. I cannot wait to go in this journey with you and see your dream become a reality! Have an awesome week.

  41. Cj Howard on September 4, 2022 at 5:22 am

Our 3,000 sf house is a work in progress because my husband is doing all the work. We’re going to be doing a brick wall in our entryway and all the way back thru our kitchen. We just finished our walk in shower. Which is now my favorite room in the house ☺️ And since it leads into the big bathroom (total sf is 500) so, I hung a sparkly linen curtains in the entryway of the shower area to hold on the heat. Makes a huge difference

  42. Honestly Abby Sparks on September 4, 2022 at 5:27 am

You could always do a basement or an upstairs to save on money! Build up!

  43. Paula Wynne on September 4, 2022 at 5:27 am

Your a nut, but in a fabulous and fun way! 🤣😂😂😂😭🤣

  44. Kimber Cline on September 4, 2022 at 5:27 am

  45. Connie Carter on September 4, 2022 at 5:31 am

    I think it’s FABULOUS ❤️❤️❤️

  46. Faith Girton on September 4, 2022 at 5:31 am

Do you allow for change as they grow and get older? 🤔 grandchildren!!

  47. Debbie Magee on September 4, 2022 at 5:32 am

Just a thought about Christmas storage. There’s a lot of wasted area in garages! Go up! If your ceilings are high, add a loft, they can design the trusses for the added weight, put stairs along a wall, and use area under stairs for more storage. Add in floor heating to the garage floor concrete. It’ll be fun to watch your process. Thanks for sharing your new home build with all of us!

  48. AboutLondonandUK on September 4, 2022 at 5:32 am

I’m so excited for you! I remember actress, Heather Dubrow, said (when they finished building her mansion) that one of her favourite things in the whole house was having a heated drawer to warm towels in her bathroom! She loved a warm towel after a shower or bath. One of Oprah’s designer friends (and also Heather Dubrow) have very organised areas where they keep everything they need to wrap presents e.g. numerous rolls of wrapping paper (Heather had her logo on hers!), tissue paper, bows and ribbons, name tags, decorative bags, selotape, glue, scissors etc. So they were always prepared in case they were suddenly invited to a dinner or party or Christmas etc. Ann x

  49. Kitzie Witty on September 4, 2022 at 5:32 am

Definitely beautiful. I would highly suggest that in these times, you prepare for long term food storage, and have a generously large garage and workshop with plenty of good security. September is National Preparedness Month. Make sure you include the tools, food, safety, and health items you and your family need in case of an emergency, Living in OK, you could look into a safety bunker as well in case of tornados. Blessings and Congratulations. You have worked really hard for this.
