This was by far my favorite tour. I wound have loved to see the street the filmed on in Boyz n the Hood where they lived. I loved this tour I’d like to go do and the tour guide was great.

Crazy to see a tour bus, seems like I visit these places so often. Love LA man. More than, just a ghetto city.

Just recently booked a flight to LA in July. Also I booked the LA Hood Tour prepaid. I sure not going to LA just to sit in the hotel room.

Dang, Adam, you went to where I was born & raised: Compton, CA (the east side). That’s pretty dope how that guy gives tours & doesn’t sugarcoat anything. I’m 46 years old & the tour guide is right about the Compton Swap Meet; the 80’s were pretty bad in general in Compton. Too bad the tour guide didn’t make a pit stop at Louis Burgers. That’s the best chili in town.

  22. Corey B on July 12, 2022 at 1:43 am

You look super out of place in Compton lol but I gotta respect you for not judging and going there with no fear. South Central for many people are just as famous or more than Hollywood and Beverly Hills.

  23. Simply Me Tvee on July 12, 2022 at 1:43 am

I am seeing this video years later, I live in Compton and I can say this tour is dope I think I know the guy to 👏🏽👏🏽😂😂💯 Adam thanks for taking this tour! You a real one

  24. Clubhouse Ear Hustla on July 12, 2022 at 1:44 am

This was a dope tour. I didn’t have this driver but instead Billy who was just as knowledgeable. I went last week and would definitely recommend it anyone who wants to do and see something different.

  25. Mike Barbosa on July 12, 2022 at 1:45 am

I agree with it as a hustle because the dude lives Compton life and knows how it is authentically. The problem is when people think they understand a century of race dynamics and socioeconomic isolation perpetuated by upper class whites after forking over $75 just to rubber neck at crackheads in a bullet proof van.

The only thing that makes this remotely positive to me is if he’s making enough to help his family and friends that aren’t fortunate enough to capitalize on Hood tourism. I’m all for tricking white people out of money to make them feel smart/special but it’s important to always emphasize that impoverished city’s like Compton aren’t a reflection of the people who got displayed there, it’s a constant fight for survival and everything else extra is a miracle/blessing. The world turned their backs on Compton and now only want to come back to gawk and extract some platitudinous idea that changes nothing of the way that person acts towards people of lower socioeconomic status. Sorry for the rant

Dang, I WISH I would have met this guy when my husband and I were in LA a couple months back. That was by far the best tour I’ve ever seen of the "real" LA

  27. Aaron Heinz on July 12, 2022 at 1:45 am

Going to LA next month might check it out

  36. Bob Dobb on July 12, 2022 at 1:54 am

Enterprising dude. Three people on one trip get him $200/day. Two trips with 6 each get him $800. Not bad for a fun job.

  37. SupraRy on July 12, 2022 at 1:54 am

Its funny how COMPLETELY different this tour is from the Hollywood hills tour, I enjoyed this one so much more and would much rather go on.

LA is a bucket list thing for me, I’ll never make it there, so this is cool to see. The massive size of the city is shocking to me. Such dense habitation. I couldn’t imagine trying to drive out there.

9:24 kinda sad to think that just weeks after this video was uploaded Nipsey Hussle would be murdered right on that very spot

There were a couple occasions where I decided not to edit a few words out simply because in this case it would have changed the mood in the experience . Wanted to give the vibe of the day from a tourist perspective . We departed at 11am and returned at 3:40pm and the cost was $75 .
