Living in Van in a Big City is no Fun….

We came to Seattle for me to take my GRE test as well as visit some friends and family. Our first night trying to sleep in the city did not go very well. From things like trying to find somewhere to use the bathroom to basically getting the van stuck in the Whole Foods parking garage things did not go our way. Thankfully we were able to head north an hour or so and find peace and beauty!

We will however need to drive back through Seattle in the next couple days in order to continue our trip down the Oregon Coast and into California!

I used to live in Denver, same traffic/parking issues. Parking nazi’s everywhere practically ticketing you before you park. Cities are nice to visit but the best spaces are out of town. I hear Portland is much more RV/Van friendly.
    Nice video 👍🤗🤗

No doubt other people have said this but I will say it anyway, you should have a porta potti in your van when you done your van you should have allowed somewhere to have an enclosed space big enough for a porta potti and a door for privacy as there is 2 of you. It amazes me that a lot of van dwellers don’t have a porta potti it is an essential thing to have, if I were a van dweller I would have to have one.

When you go back to Seattle, go to neah bay, it’s so beautiful, and there’s a few good campsites nearby

We just moved to Seattle last March from Wisconsin and the driving/parking situation was definitely not something we were used to. I can completely see how van life and driving in the city would be totally frustrating.

Hope you did well on the GRE exam!
