Awesome Storm!!๐
wow, what a nice, smart guy!!
I really respect ๐ this young man for his positivity and that fact that he has a great sense of humor…..
I wish him well……
Canadians are as cool as a fan. Every single time.
So over years lived in many caravans an ambulance and old post office van with a rail way sleeper as a bumber
Love it- He is cracking me up- having a good time….awesome!
I have been working on my van for 3 years! One day man one day.
Great video . So simple like back in the day when people were starting out years ago. That kid has such a great outlook on life and can laugh at himself. That mattress haha.
He’s so cute and has a great personality. I admire him for getting a van and saving so much money on ridiculous rent every month. Smart guy.
Thats pretty cool forest because I also have the same van but no windows on the back. It fits in all the parking spaces
Good schock absorber
Totally agree with so much he says, especially American pressure on young people to take on huge debts for an education.
I like the fact the van is very basic and no frills. He’s focusing on the important issues of education and saving money, not being flash and gadget mad.
Swivel front passesger seat for comfortable seating
Good for you ,I think youโll give a lot folks encouragement to do this .I hope you meet like minded people that can make a good community there. Also Iโve never seen the Discount Lots before , Youtube. I been looking at (going mobile ) an old The Who song . Do tell the crazy storyโs , Wow pizza helps you sleep though anything . Ok , God Bless.
I like that as a need comes up, he finds and implements an inexpensive solution! A natural problem solver! Applause!!!
vanlife4ever! awesome video bro
Fun vid man
sweet man/very smart/may be get you a male cat to keep you company-yaw can study together/take care dude/thanks much
Moral of the story: don’t just randomly sleep in restaurant parking lots.
Very smart and not only that learning how to live alone and survive while going to school saving money. You’ll really appreciate it when you’re not in debt from living in a dorm.
Good choices….
hes also the schools plug. i think i counted 3 phones?
He’s really a happy dude
One of the best ways to recover from the chaos of the last two years is to turf Trudeau out of parliament.
I have known this young man all his life. He is one very special dude.
Yeah you need that insulation good work!
great attitude, I’ve met a few 20 somethings like him.
Home base is important
Very cool
Yo man we should meet up
๐๐โ
Looks good and economical dormatory
Great ideas and a nice young man. Much success ahead!
For a time in UK I lived in a Vickers Caravan…it is a famous company that built chasie for rolls Royce or something like that…it had full c r o m on out side….Wilton carpet …and etched colored glass …and with customized everything ….and a fire place!….my water I just kept in a container on my kitchen to which I just would tip out …my oven was a wonderful old camping stove called calor…me and my kids had bath’s in a thick plastic container….which was also used for storage…..and going to toilet was easy for my kids but I would go on camping grounds …or in woods with little shovel…..or public toilets….in emergency it was plastic bag ….my stove was run on gas bottle I would put outside when hunkering down …the Caravan had mirror glass to reflect all light back in and at night generally went to sleep but fire or stove was warm light or a candle….or flash light……had a tv which would hook up to a battery to watch a weekly sope operah….for about an hour….and if we pulled up to stream I would wash clothing or in town go to a mat….I also just brushed carpets out door with messes….it was easy to keep clean and I would air out sleeping c u s I I n s out side as could get damp……but over all I didn’t need to empty out a toilet …..or chemical…..and heated water on stove ….or on top of fire stove if ran out of gas….in bottle which lasted long time about 25bucks with deposit…. Small….deposit…it had good suspension and was easy to level out and even guttering out side!….there was lighting but never used it as wasn’t grounded!
I saw your video post, you are one humble and funny dude. You are doing an amazing job making it through college, such a great move.
Keep up your good work, keep the videos coming too. This is Alan from Riverside in Southern California.
Yep, did this as a student in the 1970’s at Newcastle, UK – lived in my van ‘Plod’ on the hall of residence car park using their showers and toilets for 18 months before they realised I was there – guess they wondered where the smell of bacon and eggs drifting across the car park came from? When the college eventually forced me to move, they said if they allowed me to live in a van in the car park ‘"everyone else would want to do it" – guess what? No-one did!
It was an arts course…….I should really have made an ‘installation’ of my home!
And if you can park there … legally
Nice kid,Your gonna be successful I I know it!!!
Yet weโre a โfirst world countryโโฆ.. yeah okay ๐คฃ
I wanna buy a diesel heater from the guy you mentioned. Can I have his info? Thank!
Good young man, he’ll be fine
Lucky for me I found a camper RV park where they only charge $130 bucks to move in – I don’t have to pay for Power – Water – Gas – or Cable – I’ve saved $20 grand in 8 months
Nice. This young man has a great attitude.

take a used 8 foot laddercut it long ways, the steps and everything, then screw the sides of the ladder to each side of the roof . the van will gain stealth, and appear to be that of a painter or other tradesman . discrimination begins in the eye of the beholder, and is eaasy to hedge against when youi know its out there waiting to knock on your door. it can make you cynacle if you let it, but is based in a lack of acceptance, deeply rooted in the human condition, ordinary (ism) is the oreder of the day, and people hate vans because your having a better time than them, and they cant see you, therefore your up to no good. that is why we started using vans to shield ourselves from prying eyes waiting to call cops or worst, knock and tell you to leave a place you are legally entitled to be.
I only see 1 problem with the build, there’s no fire extinguisher. As unlikely as it is to happen, a fire, it wouldn’t hurt to have to incase of an electrical fire or an engine fire
Smart young man. You don’t have to have it all together. Just live life and have fun until you figure out what you want to do in life.
he’s a nice cheerful guy!
Discount lots sounds great. Our 2nd home build we put an abandoned mobile home on the lot. From a local park, put $6000 into fixing it up, and had a 3 bedroom home for our family while building a main home. Fortunately there had been a home on the site so we already had well and septic.
Sorry, I’d have to do some figuring out how to give you those different emoji’s. Great episode.
