Honda Element is cool, but would require way too much work to convert to camping mode. Also, if you are sleeping two and one person needs to go to the bathroom, both people need to be awake to remove the floor panel.

Good picks all, but I’m sold on Spaceball 1… correction Eagle 5. Just needs an I ❤️ Uranus bumper sticker.

As much as I’ve been a hater on this lifestyle, the older I get the more I understand it

These are lots of fun. Keep it up car and driver. Been a subscriber for probably 35 years. Keep it up.

I’ve been a fulltime RVer for 12 years (5th wheel toyhauler), but also have a truck camper to go on actual trips. Trouble is, right now, so many people are doing it that anywhere I go, there are already a ton of people. So I just stay home.

I had never seen the GMC motorhomes before watching this episode. Tony totally sold me on it! I spent months looking for a good example that wasn’t $50k and now I’m the proud owner of a ’77 GMC Kingley.

Please say that the five of you will co-host a C&D TV virtual 30-minute weekly show. You’re all comfortable with and enjoy each other, which makes me feel like I’ve been invited to your house party. Your one-liner interjections (e.g., the running bathroom bit and that sex swing observation) had me chuckling and engaged to the end. BTW, long live ’70s avacado interiors!

my personal choice would be the honda element with add-ons, love that honda reliability!

I just brought a 76 GMC Eleganza 11, she’s been rebuilt, non smoker, engines bored out to almost 500ci, she’s a beast super excited to road trip her

I did not know I wanted one of these until I saw the Vixen! Ideal if you want a drift vehicle that you can drive long distances to events… p.s. I know how the Youtube peanut gallery can be… That was a joke (albeit a bad one!).

    You guys are fricking snobs

  13. liquidflorian on September 14, 2022 at 5:36 am

I’ve wanted one of those 70s GMC motorhomes after seeing it featured in the movie Stripes.

Im surprised no one picked this Honda https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1985-honda-acty-van/ ?! Pretty cool IMO and apparently very affordable. Im seriously considering making an offer just because.
