These small but elegant (updated/modern/functional lay out) spaces are the best. And, seen in almost every ‘high priced’ city/stage … from New York to Atlanta to Texas to California. Where income is relatively high.
What’s confusing is why towns with low income levels don’t adopt this idea?
As a result cheaply built, over priced (plane Jane) apartment complexes are everywhere. No character, no nice amenities (building supplies used).
In essence no quality over quantity (square footage).
My only guess is that the cost to initially build is equal to larger cheaply built apartments? Thus, size; square footage, always wins?! (I guess)
A town should at least have both. Even if monthly rent is "close" or a little less for (these) studios.
Even with THREE Universities, builders (and bankers et al) opted for large 3 bedroom/3 bathroom large apartments (with shared kitchen/living room space). One front door. AND, students don’t always have a choice of their roommate(s).
Opportunity missed indeed for these cute modern/effeciant small spaces. Studios, 1 bedroom and what is referred to as 1.5’s.
The modern updated 1.5’s could be a blessing for the single moms who prefer quality or charm over "cheap" (plane Jane) spaces. *if priced right.
Hoping this concept continues across the US in other towns who could really benefit as well.
Nicely coordinated space, without looking cramped. I like the idea of putting the lighting on the walls. Thanks for this video.
Ha ha ha please come and design my space I live in Sydney Australia. Please come.xxxxxxx
Watch that apt be $2200
Awesome
Stunning!
Men’s studio seem bigger. Absolutely no frills, plants.neat, neutral colors, matter of fact.
Omg where is that sectional from?
very nice space. and with him being 6’5" you get a feel for how roomy it was.
That’s a beautiful apartment but that corner shelving above the bed is not a good idea I don’t think you could use that as A-day bed because of those shelves!!!
My bathrooms bigger than that
This man is obviously smart so why didn’t he have a longer couch that would have given him a little more room to lay down? Everything is white/light which gives it a steril look. When in s small space don’t be afraid of color, at least a pop of some here and there. It’s ok but looks flat and without any character. Sorry…..
I would prefer a Murphy bed.
Beautiful. And very expensive looking. Theres too much shelving by the bed tho,it focuses your eye to the bed.
Where is that sectional from?
I wish they toured the apt more, like the bathroom & closet space
Absolutely gorgeous !!
