Hello everyone! This home office makeover took me entirely too long to finish. I actually started fall of last year- oops! As usual though, I used mostly thrifted decor to give this room a new life. I am really happy with the way it turned out, and I’m feeling so inspired again!

I have been looking forward to this make-over and I think it turned out great. The room looks like a nice place to work. I think it’s great that you kept the cat chair. It’s their scratching post, their nap area, their look-out, what could be better, lol. You’re a good cat mom for keeping it for them. I always enjoy seeing Miles and Floyd creeping around in your videos. Another great video Chelsea. Have a wonderful ‘rest of the week’ and weekend.

Great transformation! Ironically, I have a sort of moody "olive" green bathroom that I’m planning on painting black and white when it warms up here a little bit more – only been planning on doing that for over a year, so I know what you mean when "life gets in the way!" The rug is beautiful, love the window treatments. I love the lines of the "cats’" chair – very classic, perfect size for lounging, has a sort of mid-century modern look but would fit in with many different decor styles, and looks very comfy. Your cats have very good taste. Somewhere down the line when it’s reached the point of no return on the upholstery, consider having a custom slipcover made or try reupholstering it yourself. I’m in the process of doing something in my small home office, including rearranging furniture in it that has to stay (no place to put essential bookcases and large dresser that is needed for overflow storage) and no money to replace. I’d like to go dark and moody/dark academia so I’m looking for practical inspiration.
