Do you recommend electric cooking or propane cooking?
We are new to camping and will be taking our first tent camping trip in October! This may be a silly question but when all the ice has melted in the coolers…..what is your suggestion to get more?! Do people typically leave their campsite (everything still set up) to go drive to the nearest location with ice? I know some of the state parks here in TX have wood & ice kiosk but if they don’t? Thanks for these tips!!

If you forget the bbq cleaner. You can take aluminum foil. Balled up. When the grill is hot, rub the foil on it. And it’s clean.
If you have tongs and tin foil you can hear off some aluminium and ball it up and use that with the tongs to clean a grill 🙂 just for future reference if you find yourself in that situation again.

Eliminate the grill brush…yuck.
Grab a ball of foil with your cooking tongs…use the foil to clean the crud off of the grill. Works better than anything I know with no dangerous metal bristles that can break off. Great video!!

You can clean a hot grill using half an onion and rubbing the grill with it over the heat.
