In the YouTube video, we cover the 4 main reasons why anyone might need to rent an RV. They are:

1️⃣ Rent an RV to see if you like RV Camping! It’s a great way to try out the RV Lifestyle and see if RV Life is for you!

2️⃣Avoid the Costs of RV Ownership – Why pay all that money for an RV PLUS Maintenance, Storage and Insurance only to use the RV for vacation two or three weeks a year?

3️⃣Try BEFORE You Buy an RV – If you are considering buying an RV we highly recommend that you rent a similar RV before you buy one and Outdoorsy is the perfect place to rent the exact make and model of RV you are considering buying. Or if you own a particular type of RV (like a Class C RV for example) and you are considering buying a travel trailer we recommend renting one before you buy one to make sure you like it.

4️⃣Maximize Your Vacation Time – Let’s say you own an RV and live on the East Coast but you want to see a National Park out west. If you only have a week or two of vacation time available it is impractical to drive across the country in that amount of time. So we recommend that you fly out west and rent an RV there and then fly back home so you can maximize your vacation time!

Why Rent an RV from Outdoorsy?
1️⃣Outdoorsy had a huge selection of RVs available for rent all across the USA and Canada!
2️⃣They also have the best insurance coverage in the industry.
3️⃣And it is super easy to use their website to search for and book the perfect RV rental.

The video goes through a tutorial of the Outdoorsy website and shows how easy it is to search, compare and book your RV rental. And we also show where the RV Rental Discount Code will show up on the booking page.

I’m interested in testing some RV models but also looking for one already at a campground to test out the lifestyle for a weekend here and there. Do campgrounds or specific sites offer this?

I’m sooooo concerned with the mileage and generator costs. I’ve been looking for an RV from oh to fl and those fees are going to add up, big time!

do you do videos on teardrop camper? I have a Camry 2011 . I do not see which teardrops or A Frame popup campers are compatible.

Hi Mike, I’m 24. Outdoorsy doesn’t insure under 25. Would you please suggest any insurance company which does RV rental insurance. Thanks in advance 🙏🏼

Are mileage overruns charged extra per owner? Or does Outdoorsy have standard rates for that? Am wondering about a cross-country trip, but most options are for only 100-150 miles/day.

It cracks me up when people think renting an RV is expensive, guessing they have never owned an RV before. As you touched on, if they have never RV’ed before, no clue if they will like it, have no clue which one will fit there needs renting can save you a ton of money by not buying the wrong unit, how many times have we seen people buying many units, loosing money every time until they find a fit.

Everyone should rent a few different models before buying an RV, so you get some concrete ideas of what you want and what you don’t want. I love that comforter behind you with the little trailers on it! 😀

Renting RV is expensive! Rental can range from $100 to $300 per night, similar to a hotel. Campsites are another $50 to $150 a night and since they get just four to ten miles per gallon, gas can cost $75 to $100 per day. As gas now edges past $3 a gallon, a dollar more than 2020, a fill-up can now cost $150.
